Most powerful passport
« on: January 08, 2020, 12:17:24 AM »
If you hold a Japanese Passport you can tip up to 191 nations without a passport.

The US and UK once held on to top spot and are now 8th, and will fall further when (with Canada) not being able to get Russian e-visas is factored in.

Then the UK passport holders might take a further fall, depending on how not being an EU member effects entry requirements in EEA / EU and nations that did EU wide deals....

I once had a UN passport.   Not so powerful, but broadly welcomed.

My first trip to the CCCP occurred in 1986.  Even though I had a visa, the Passport Kontrol Gestapo  poked a thin needle through my passport photo.

Holes in documents can void them. Do you think they were creating a reason to detain you before you leave in case they suspect you a spy or do you think they were checking the quality and thickness of photo paper the UN buys?
Fund the audits, spread the word and educate people, write your politicians and other elected officials. Stay active in the fight to save our country. Over 220 generals and admirals say we are in a fight for our survival like no other time since 1776.

Not UN passport.  The needle was so thin to make the holes undetectable.  The eagle-eyed inspector were examining the photo to determine if it had been applied over another.

My exit a week later was stressful (I wrote about it somewhere).   I stupidly did not register my visa.  Set off alarms because  I had roamed around Moscow without them watching me.
