Jump 4 Love!
« on: July 16, 2010, 06:48:21 PM »
Has anyone ever been to this website:
www.jump4love.com

I joined it before I knew any better and today was the first time I checked my in box there.

These girls don't believe in mincing words. I say "girls" because who knoww is writing these letters.
Most of the letters were from 18-24 year old's with most telling you they want to have sex with you right now. I don't think actually being there with them is necessary.

Some of them even attach some pretty nice pics.

How long have these scammers been doing this?

People have been doing this for a long time in one way or another.  Just delete and move on is what I do.  Sort of like the money scams.  I can't stop it, but I can ignore it.

problem is.. now that you signed up.. your contact info will be sold on every scammer list out there.. watch what happens now.. your number of spam/scam mails will increase exponentially until you have to change your email address.

Its yeva4u again and also when you click the link at the bottom of the page you will see "anastasia affiliate program"  They have created a million different front ends and web addresses basically using the same method that porn sites use.

The worst part is the mailing lists.. Those mailing lists never end and once you are on you can not get off.  It is true spam in the old sense.

You know, it's weird, but I never got on those mailing lists despite doing EM and setting up some free profiles on three or four other sites which never produced anything viable. A couple of people seem to go on and on about being on the spam lists, but personally my feeling is it must be something else they are doing which gets them in that situation.

Another thought is that it seems in the last 3-4 weeks the traffic and chat has focused on websites more than usual. Maybe it's just a summertime thing but guys seem to be looking more for some mystical, magic bullet website rather than getting straight what their goals and objectives are for their search. This seems true both here and at RUA.

Used EM as a dating site.

I also joined several other places at the free level and had a profile on a free site but nothing useful was ever gained by those approaches.

Ed.. I noticed spikes in my RW spams at several stages.. I know exactly when.

Right after I quit HRB I got a HUGE spike.  Same right after I quit Anastasia.  But, the two biggest spikes came after quitting cuteonly and after a one day membership on yeva4u.  It is the yeva4u that is the most persistent although recently there have been a variety of spams with sites similar to jump4love.. all of which have the anastasia affiliate logo at the bottom of the page.

I can explain part of what is happening.  Some of the major sites have revenue sharing programs, or, affiliate marketing if you want to call it that.  It is the same business model that porn sites use to increase revenue.  So, basically a person signs up to be an affiliate marketeer and they get their own links with a special code.  They can put links on blogs, sites, forums, anywhere really including emails.  If someone clicks on the link with code and joins a site and then spends.. the marketeer gets a percentage of the revenue, or, sometimes the payout is just for the join.. there are different programs.

Those very same sites may also sell email lists to their new affiliates.  I think it is clear that is going on in some cases.

Yeah, that's what I wanted to say as well. I recently came across another similar dating website for men http://www.behappy2day.com/< and I believe their affiliate program is http://www.affiliate2day.com/
