Why is it okay for Ukrainian Nazis to Attack Civilians?

Why is it okay for Ukrainian Nazis to attack families commemorating loved ones who fought the Nazis?  Is Ukraine the only country where this is okay and not worthy of report?  Is Ukraine the only country where it is acceptable to persecute people who defended Jews?

Why is real Nazism in Ukraine not newsworthy?  JayH - you follow the news, do you know?

So you are apologizing for resurgent Nazism in the Ukraine now?  Would that include persecuting Jewish war veterans who fought Ukrainian-Nazis?  You need links for this?

Who said they were all Nazis?  Who said those "Nazis" were attacking or persecuting Jewish war veterans?  Only, I assume, you, based on your source, which likely is Russia Today. 

So do you want to discuss the fact that your initial report was inaccurate?  Is that why you didn't post a link?

Lyubov Pechko is a Red Army veteran.  How do you know she's Jewish?  Pechko is a Ukrainian surname.

Natalia Korolevska was a target because, for the local population, she fomented war in Donbas.  She isn't a WWII veteran.  She isn't a Jewish war veteran.  She wasn't there to commemorate WWII.  That's why she showed up with bodyguards.  Given this occurred in a town that was a flashpoint in the war (Slovyansk), and that Korolevska is a pro Russian politician who came to make a pro Russian speech in a town that was on the front line of the war and changed hands before being retaken by Ukrainian forces, she would not face a warm reception.  She is the one who turned what is generally a solemn event into a political one in a region where thousands have died. 

Yup. That can only be the the fault of those evil Ukrainian Nazis. 

Here is video of the aftermath of the event.  You'll note, it's not only the "Nazis" shouting at her.  And look at that provocative placard - "peace and happiness on earth".  Oh, those evil Nazis taking over Ukraine.  And it's all hidden by JayH.  A conspiracy in the making!

Sadly, there are wack jobs in Ukraine who choose to use violence / the threat of violence to 'try to get their way'.   We saw the news on Pervy Kanal and watched the UA authorities use tear gas to force their way into the twats' vantage point and forcibly disarm and arrest them.

These same types could be found fighting in Ukraine - for both sides - depending on accident of birth.  Did you not see coverage of peaceful marches in Eastern Ukraine being attacked by masked 'heroes' in 2014 ?

Such wack jobs are present in RU, Cyprus, IRL, UK and probably even Canada -  they find a 'cause' and use violence - probably at the behest of cowardly types who seek to provoke polarisation and unrest from behind the scenes...

moby, is this the event I described?  Where the elderly woman in the report was in the Red Army?  If so, she was not the target of the attack, so to suggest she was is misleading.


Whether targeting a politician at what should be a solemn event is a separate matter.
