STaty ; I guess you don't have internet access, but if you are still here, we'd like to meet you  ;)

Now that I have a Multi entry visa, I want to visit the breakaway republic of Abkhazia - having been to the border, twice

Hello, msmobyone! Unfortunately, I arrived home from Sochi. My holiday ended.  It was great! Sea, beaches, falls, mountains, fruit. I am sure, you very much will like Abkhazia. There are a lot of beautiful places and very tasty dishes.

Chernobyl anyone?

 :barf: :barf: :barf:

Been to the exclusion zone closing in on 50 times over the years and taken thousands of photos.

If you do go, best to take the 2 day excursion because you will see so much more and spending the night is something
cool you can say you did.  Hotel is basic but the  food is great.
cost 150 for day trip and 275 for 2 day.

How about the Maly Semyachik Volcano
« Reply #55 on: August 06, 2015, 01:30:44 PM »
The Maly Semyachik Volcano

This stunning compound stratovolcano is a natural wonder located on the Kamchatka peninsula, and features a brilliant green-blue lake. Minerals are believed to be responsible for the color of this hot, acidic lake. Located within the active Troitsky crater.
