Trench,
well, at least you won't be sharing a bathroom with yur lodgers
but...
if they don't have separate entrances, then they will share yours
and you will lose more than just privacy

what if Tiny Tim Trench, a poor wee defenseless lad, is home without mommy or daddy
and the lodgers are there?

now do you KNOW what you're trading in exchange for yur lodgers
yur NOT ACTUALLY MAKING money
yur just selling yur privacy and security
and yur not counting this loss, against the gain
IMHO, a poor exchange
I stopped living with room mates 40 years ago

Russia to Involve Laos Troops in Its War Against Ukraine. Here’s What We Know
Kremlin is organizing the deployment of up to 50 Lao sapper troops to clear landmines
in Russia’s Kursk region under the guise of humanitarian assistance, a move Kyiv says
is intended to legitimize the presence of foreign combat-support forces on Russian soil,
as stated in the latest Ukraine’s Military Intelligence Directorate (HUR) report.

“Russia, hiding behind humanitarian rhetoric, is trying to legalize the presence of a
foreign military contingent on its territory, effectively using it to support combat operations
against Ukraine,” the intelligence directorate stated.

In addition to the mass recruitment of mercenaries from African and Asian countries
and units from North Korea, the Kremlin is exploring the possibility of involving so-
called partners under the pretext of implementing humanitarian projects in Russia’s
border regions with Ukraine.

human creativity is a process that can be automated, just like accounting
there is "no god in the machine" Deus ex machina, even man is mechanical

almost every computer chip, motherboard I own came from Asia
why shouldn't I use Chinese software if I also use their hardware, especially when I have the source code to it to make certain it's not spyware

in the past, I spent a lot of time in shenzhen (roughly twice the size of New York City)
what Detroit ONCE was for autmobiles, shenzhen is for the electronics industry
a fascinating place
sometimes I wonder what my life would've been like if I had married a Han Chinese woman with a "white boy" fetish and moved there instead of going Ukrainian

George Orwell predicted "generative AI" in 1949 in his novel "1984"

"There was a whole chain of separate departments dealing with proletarian literature, music, drama, and entertainment generally. Here were produced rubbishy newspapers containing almost nothing except sport, crime and astrology, sensational five-cent novelettes, films oozing with sex, and sentimental songs which were composed entirely by mechanical means on a special kind of kaleidoscope known as a versificator

It was one of countless similar songs published for the benefit of the proles by a sub-section of the Music Department. The words of these songs were composed without any human intervention whatever on an instrument known as a versificator."

when the prophets speak, it pays to listen

receipts = photographic evidence of the topic of "Quality of Life in Russia" not a literal receipt
you don't have private health insurance in Russia, and you rely on Russian public health care...LOL....

stop deflecting and gaslighting, that's ALL you're doing in this thread
and THAT is the truth you're REALLY giving to us by trying to deceive us with your gaslighting

you have already learned what EVERY Russian has learned
you dare not criticize Putin's Russia

Krimter using the Chinese powered Deepseek.... what a surprise.
The point is that AI does not create anything new. It uses computer power to generate things according to the ideas of those using it. That is both a good and a bad thing. People with limited skills but good imagination can no create things they could only dream of beofre. But those with the skills now have to compete with people with less skills but better imagination.
While results seem impressive, AI still misses the lat part. Your examples show just that.Yes you can give AI the order to create something, and it wil generate faster than you can do it yourself. Just a the firt computers could present the result of a calculation much faster than doing it by hamd or even machine. But intelligence is the power to go beyond what others tell you, to break free from the propaganda of those feeding you what to say and do. And that seems to be lacking. Not only in AI.

receipts = photographic evidence of the topic of "Quality of Life in Russia", which I supplied, and you didn't
I guess if you were living in Germany in 1938, you'd give us a photo of the "Franken Stadium" in  Nuremberg

your picture is a deflection, I said YOU WOULD NOT show us yur DOMA, and of course I was right, and WE BOTH know WHY
and as I said, "you're only fooling yourself" and not someone who has actually lived in Russia longer than you have, and knows the meaning of reality
You will have to be patient my dear krimster. As said please tell me how to show receipts of a free service. My home will be shown once our renovation is finished, expected before winter strikes.
Do we have cows, goats and geese wandering around in our village ? Sure.We also have glassfiber internet and underground gas pipes.

The recent fare in a stay at a NHS hospital in the UK is usually a sandwich for your dinner, some tea or juice and the odd snack lol. So on the menu side of things I am doubtful of the authenticity of Shadow's statement. I think he may be winding us up lol or sees everything with rosy tinted specs on.

Shadow, if you really are over there living the life you say you are then lining your sons up with the better girls should be your first priority. Am I right in thinking they are around the early to mid teens sort of age?
Not fooling you Trench. Food is better as in Dutch hospitals. When we picked him up we were eraly, but the canteen chef suggested us to let him eat lunch. And perpared some fur us to eat a well, as they have eniugh.Lunch was a soup with brown bread, the cutlets wit rice, completed with tea.
As for their romantic life, no worries. Their foreign aura creates more than enough interest. On top of that our youngest son is already taller than me, he is now 1.90m at 14 years and has interest to develop his muscles.

imagine you're a graphic artist, how long before you're replaced by AI?

I have DeepSeek-R1 running on a high-end PC, it's comparable to Chatgpt4 and doesn't need a network connection and I have all the source code and can do what I want with it
and I use another AI, called "CLAUDE AI" to generate source code for my own programs
http://claude.ai/login?returnTo=%2F%3F

I was really stunned by it's ability
note: I've been writing code for around 50 years

in the near future, every company will be running some form of "Agent AI" to perform tasks that humans were previously required to complete
it's just a matter of time

I refer to it as "The AI job apocalypse"

note: I haven't been in a San Francisco "Hackathon" in many years, I used to be a player many years ago
now, Gen Z dopers using AI walk away with the winnings

http://developers.slashdot.org/story/25/07/06/0357235/vibe-coder-who-doesnt-know-how-to-code-keeps-winning-hackathons-in-san-francisco

the future, is already here, it's just unevenly distributed at the moment, but it's already here
