human creativity is a process that can be automated, just like accounting there is "no god in the machine" Deus ex machina, even man is mechanical
almost every computer chip, motherboard I own came from Asia why shouldn't I use Chinese software if I also use their hardware, especially when I have the source code to it to make certain it's not spyware
in the past, I spent a lot of time in shenzhen (roughly twice the size of New York City) what Detroit ONCE was for autmobiles, shenzhen is for the electronics industry a fascinating place sometimes I wonder what my life would've been like if I had married a Han Chinese woman with a "white boy" fetish and moved there instead of going Ukrainian
George Orwell predicted "generative AI" in 1949 in his novel "1984"
"There was a whole chain of separate departments dealing with proletarian literature, music, drama, and entertainment generally. Here were produced rubbishy newspapers containing almost nothing except sport, crime and astrology, sensational five-cent novelettes, films oozing with sex, and sentimental songs which were composed entirely by mechanical means on a special kind of kaleidoscope known as a versificator
It was one of countless similar songs published for the benefit of the proles by a sub-section of the Music Department. The words of these songs were composed without any human intervention whatever on an instrument known as a versificator."

receipts = photographic evidence of the topic of "Quality of Life in Russia" not a literal receipt you don't have private health insurance in Russia, and you rely on Russian public health care...LOL....
stop deflecting and gaslighting, that's ALL you're doing in this thread and THAT is the truth you're REALLY giving to us by trying to deceive us with your gaslighting
you have already learned what EVERY Russian has learned you dare not criticize Putin's Russia

Krimter using the Chinese powered Deepseek.... what a surprise. The point is that AI does not create anything new. It uses computer power to generate things according to the ideas of those using it. That is both a good and a bad thing. People with limited skills but good imagination can no create things they could only dream of beofre. But those with the skills now have to compete with people with less skills but better imagination. While results seem impressive, AI still misses the lat part. Your examples show just that.Yes you can give AI the order to create something, and it wil generate faster than you can do it yourself. Just a the firt computers could present the result of a calculation much faster than doing it by hamd or even machine. But intelligence is the power to go beyond what others tell you, to break free from the propaganda of those feeding you what to say and do. And that seems to be lacking. Not only in AI.
receipts = photographic evidence of the topic of "Quality of Life in Russia", which I supplied, and you didn't I guess if you were living in Germany in 1938, you'd give us a photo of the "Franken Stadium" in Nuremberg
your picture is a deflection, I said YOU WOULD NOT show us yur DOMA, and of course I was right, and WE BOTH know WHY and as I said, "you're only fooling yourself" and not someone who has actually lived in Russia longer than you have, and knows the meaning of reality
You will have to be patient my dear krimster. As said please tell me how to show receipts of a free service. My home will be shown once our renovation is finished, expected before winter strikes. Do we have cows, goats and geese wandering around in our village ? Sure.We also have glassfiber internet and underground gas pipes.
The recent fare in a stay at a NHS hospital in the UK is usually a sandwich for your dinner, some tea or juice and the odd snack lol. So on the menu side of things I am doubtful of the authenticity of Shadow's statement. I think he may be winding us up lol or sees everything with rosy tinted specs on.
Shadow, if you really are over there living the life you say you are then lining your sons up with the better girls should be your first priority. Am I right in thinking they are around the early to mid teens sort of age?
Not fooling you Trench. Food is better as in Dutch hospitals. When we picked him up we were eraly, but the canteen chef suggested us to let him eat lunch. And perpared some fur us to eat a well, as they have eniugh.Lunch was a soup with brown bread, the cutlets wit rice, completed with tea. As for their romantic life, no worries. Their foreign aura creates more than enough interest. On top of that our youngest son is already taller than me, he is now 1.90m at 14 years and has interest to develop his muscles.

imagine you're a graphic artist, how long before you're replaced by AI?
I have DeepSeek-R1 running on a high-end PC, it's comparable to Chatgpt4 and doesn't need a network connection and I have all the source code and can do what I want with it and I use another AI, called "CLAUDE AI" to generate source code for my own programs http://claude.ai/login?returnTo=%2F%3F
I was really stunned by it's ability note: I've been writing code for around 50 years
in the near future, every company will be running some form of "Agent AI" to perform tasks that humans were previously required to complete it's just a matter of time
I refer to it as "The AI job apocalypse"
note: I haven't been in a San Francisco "Hackathon" in many years, I used to be a player many years ago now, Gen Z dopers using AI walk away with the winnings

If you aim low, you will hit low. When I was a young man I worked for my father making $1.25 an hour. I got a job at a restaurant and doubled my money. I kept switching jobs always making more. I lost everything I owned during the 2008 crash, even though it took over a year and a half for my last kopeck to turn into dust.
So what did I do? I started over in the oil fields of Norf Dekody. I lived in a camp trailer in a dirt field in bumF#cky ND -40F in the winter. I lived there when I flew to Russia to eventually meet Angel Eyes. I didn't stop, I never stop. Wyoming, Colorado and now in Texas. Continually jumping to better and better opportunities. Angel Eyes hitched her wagon to me and have made more money every year.
You are aiming at the lowest possible rung on the ladder your big plan is to stay on the bottom wrung but stand on your tippy toes?
Renting out a room in your house isn't a plan. I've made more money than you in every job I've ever had since 1988. My 35 year old son has never worked for less than you in his entire working career.
Raise your sites higher and an FSUW good girl will stand beside/behind to help and support in every way. Aim for the absolute minimum, then a man with more ambition will be noticed when he comes along.
Aim higher, a lot higher, women are biologically, chemically and prehistorically predisposed right down to their DNA to seek and compete for the higher performing men. The fatties, the disfigured and the disabled are the ones who are destined for the bottom rung.
Make a better plan.
You've had a tough life and worked hard Bill. I hadn't realised that you had things that way. It no doubt was hard in that trailer in such bitterly cold weather but you did well to hang on in there.
I don't know how you lodge all of your money in the credit crunch of 2008, maybe you lost your job, had money invested in something hit hard by the credit crunch or both. Bad things can happen in life and take us unawares but you did good not to let it get you down as it must have been hard times.
I think though that there is another aspect here, you say you Mads more that me since 1988 but lost it all in the credit crunch. So you possibly ended up making more money with that leading you to taking more risk. You then lost it all to taking more risk but perhaps those who hadn't made more money but stayed with less risk ended up in a better more stable position at that time.
If you have had a woman then and you lost it all many women walk out on their man in such situations particularly if it's easier to find another man it's an easy thing for them to do to jump ship. It happens during many recessions that women walk out on men who are no longer doing well even with the kids lol. They can be nasty I guess. I get what you are saying that there is potentially always the competition. Again it can depend on how easy it is for a girl to upgrade, for some girls less so as they age and/or how they are. Having a girl who is highly desirable on several fronts isn't always a good thing. What I've learnt along the way here is not to get too hooked on the idea of holding onto one girl as if your life depended on it. She is just one possibility of many possibilities in life. That even if a girl did leave me that there are many other women out there in the FSU and elsewhere who I could hook up with and potentially be happy.
I won't just be sticking with my job and renting out my house I'm just saying that my financial situation should be picking up then🤞
I'll have extra time on my hands so it will make sense to try and do something with that extra time to do work with and try and find another stream of income. My job is fairly resistant to AI so although it's minimum wage it's a fairly safe bet and many jobs in the UK are low pay anyway. My girl is attractive looking but she is around 30 or so, so while not real old is out of the very actively red hot late teens to mid twenties dating scene.
So things are going ok at the moment, life is life so I can only hope things will keep going ok and life won't bite me on the bum as it can do so. On that front just keeping up with work and working on myself will hopefully help to avoid that along with trying to make sensible decisions.
dozens of little girls died in an unforecast massive rain/flood at a Bible Study Camp near San Antonio, Texas that was built right on the edge of a river on the worst flood plain in the USA
You think Gawd would have saved them.
Not good for the female to male ratio later in life.
