As may be seen above, RWD may have lost a long-term member due to posting political commentary unrelated to the purpose of RWD. While unfortunate, it *is* correct there are other venues which encourage such political debates and ANY member who wishes to engage in those exchanges is encouraged to post at those other venues.

While on the topic (yet again) of political speech unrelated to the purpose of RWD, let this be a reminder that such political speech is not allowed here at RWD. It invariably devolves into member disputes and entrenched positions contributing nothing of value to RWD.

If anyone sees a post, whether recent or past, which is purely political in nature, please report it. As krimster mentioned, there have been times when restriction of political posts was not enforced strictly and there may be, and probably are, posts which need excision from RWD.
