I've been to Ukraine several times. The first time i visited, I took a few treats with me that turned out to be a very good idea. Take a few cans of the cheese in a can. They love it!!! Also a few packs of the new tuna in the packs not the can. While you are there, make some tuna sald. MMMMMMMM.just add a little mayo, a few eggs, some pepper and sweet relish. They also like peanut butter. You can get it in the larger towns but not in the smaller towns. Places like Kiev, Odessa, it's a little pricey. Also with the summer coming, take a bag of marshmellos and roast them when you go to the river or lake to have shaslyk(B-B-Q). This l most recent trip I took the makins for tacos.(all but the meat). to be safe I took hot and mild sauce. That was a huge success. I witnessed 24 tacos disappear in minutes. I like Ukr. food but it's nice to go with a few of your own treats to.
