New Theme (Better Visibility) and Ignore Feature

Based on feedback from several users, I made some small adjustments to the site today. I also enabled a feature that some may find useful.

First - the new Theme. As you can see, it uses lighter backgrounds and a slightly larger font. The appearance of individual posts should be much closer to the old board - and more importantly, it should make it easier to read for the majority of users.

I also dropped the left and right frames when viewing the Forum area. The frames are available, if you should want them, but they are hidden by default in the Forum.

Next - as you browse the Forum, you now have the ability to exercise an "Ignore" feature if you wish to ignore a particular person's posts. To use this feature, you simply look for a small icon and click on it. All of that person's posts are then hidden from view - and will remain hidden to you in all future topics until you either "Show" their post or "Unignore" the person.

Actually, Dan, it looks pretty good.

I commend you, this came off quicker and better than anyone would have hoped.  Nice job, kudos to all involved.

PS; I like that "ignore" button, it will eliminate a lot of fights

Really like the top bar giving options to see replies to your posts and new replies since last visit. Several boards offer this type of setup but this one works much better than others I've seen elsewhere.

About the first, it is great... more easy to read....

For the second, it was not really a problem since i work at 1280 pixel wide... but i have test it at 800 pixel and it is a plus... the slide bar for avatar dissappear... not the forum is good for low and high resolution... for people at very low ( 640 pixels ), the problem don't really change...

About the last, i am again... what is the mean of "discussion" is discussion is not more possible... a minimum will be that the ignored personn know it... i invest hours in these forum and i don't like when it is for nothing... this function is a function for coward and lazzy people who cannot control themself...

You wanted Smilies. Next time you hit the Reply button - look for the link to [more] next to the smilies across the top. That will pop-up the same selection of Smilies we had at the previous board.
