I didn't figure it out by myself. Is there a time when people are there?

Yep, i wanted to ask the same! There is always nobody there... May be the chat-party should be thrown ;)

A few time Son of Clyde has got one going on Sunday afternoons. That is the main time I've seen folks there. You can also just hang out in there and see if anyone drops by. The autobot is interesting to talk to also if you like "out there" conversations.

Been busy last 2 or 3 Sunday's. I will try for next Sunday the 18th.
I try for 1:30 or 2 est for the European people and East Coast USA.
Can someone volunteer to initiate a West Coast chat?

If no one is there -- just leave open and read forum in another window -- you will see if anyone comes.
Chat has been nearly non existent over the last few years .Prior to that it could have up to 12+ people and 4 conversations happening at one time !! LoL!
Some members have made real life associations made from chat - ( and at least one marriage !) and many real life friends & meetings also.
I mentioned it in a thread recently -- there was a lot of material disclosed in chat that people would not want in an open forum - and some real help to many.
In your case DC-- right from your first post here -- you would have been a classic case of needing between the eyes friendly advice that would have helped you for a certainty.( you and many others in similar stages)
Chat has seen some serious times !! and some hilarious . I will never forget the late Krassie and her comments and no nonsense attitude to us all! ;D

I never noticed there was a chat room either, kind of funny waiting in an empty chat room. These days could've waiting years in there for anyone to turn up, lol.
I think chat rooms are virtually non-existent on the net these days which is a shame as they could be a good laugh. I remember around the millennium they were all the rate on the internet. They had a nice kind of randomness and rapidness that forums don't quite have. Forums are great but chat rooms were kind of bizarre and quizzical. You could go into one one day and chat up a girl and yes some guys pretending to be girls but they were normally caught out early on by being too obvious talking about boob size too early on etc. Then another day you could be winding up some up tight overly patriotic US guy or girl whilst having the safety of the screen between us :) ahh... good times!
