Romantic comedy about mail order brides
« on: August 23, 2013, 10:54:06 PM »
Not sure if I'm spamming, I hope not. I've been to Ukraine twice, returning again in Sept. to propose. Spent more than 2 years on the big A's website, I guess successfully. Caveat emptor of course, and it pays to be polite.

I wrote a book about it, fiction and funny, or so I'm told.

http://www.amazon.com/Yanas-American-Adventure-Century-ebook/dp/B00EPXV5C0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1377323343&sr=8-1&keywords=yana%27s+american+adventure

Again, if this spam is against the rules I'm sorry, delete it and I won't do it again. But it is a funny book.

Although I love reading funny stories and I am rather certain you did not want to offend anybody by referring to women as "mail order brides", I won't read your book. I do not want to encourage nor benefit people who use demeaning labels, even if it is done for the purpose of advertising.
If you don't understand something, why the other person is the idiot?

Demeaning labels?  Like wife-hunter?

I think the lady doth protest too much.

I wonder who would you cast: Harrison Ford as the lead, Milla Jovich and Milla Kunis as the female leads, side kicks: DJ Qualls with SFX make up in Filipino face, acne and gray hair, and perhaps Liberace for another poster on this forum.

I am glad you shared your experiences.  What is life without a sense of humor?

Then again we do have a few posters with experience to answer that question . . .
