My hunch is that there is a sexual angle somehow figuring into this situation...

There's no doubt in my mind Lesin received blows below the belt.

Okay,

The true story comes out.  RT has stated that he died from natural causes.  Blunt force trauma is natural causes.

If you read this article from RT, they have absolutely hidden that the US is investigating that he was murdered.

Somehow, do you get the feeling how stupid RT thinks the rest of the world is?

In Russia it is.  :P

It simply fits in with how stupid Russians think the rest of the world (especially USA citizens) is/are.

That also fits right in with them wanting to come here . . . I guess.  Who wouldn't want to live and work among stupid people; quite a nice life to look forward to.

It sounds more like the Russian news agency is staffed by Bagdad Bob.  You recall Bagdad Bob making announcements to the Western press that "Iraqi military is pushing America into the sea," and meanwhile smoke from bombs and cruise missiles can be seen rising in the distance behind Bagdad Bob.

What I love is this part of the article:

Nevertheless, the manner of death was still classified as “undetermined,” with the autopsy unable to reveal the cause of Lesin’s injuries, meaning they could have been the result of a physical assault, a fall or a vehicle accident.

What was a vehicle doing in his hotel room?  And how did it "accidentally" get to the 14th (or whatever) floor?

And also:

Citing the same unnamed sources, the New York Times says neither the FBI, nor the US Justice Department have been taking an active part in the ongoing investigation.

Umm...why would they?  He hadn't been kidnapped.  The responsibility to investigate any (presumed) homicide surely rests with the local police. After all, Lesin was a media tycoon - it's not as if he was actually someone important.  ;D

Certainly he wouldn't be the first Russian man to fall and hit his head on a crowbar 22 times?  :D

I remember the "wild west" days of Russia and Ukraine when jumping in front of a fast moving train was also listed as natural causes.

When Russian people hear this, they know. But they also know that to challenge the power structure could mean death by the same sort of natural causes.

Or fatally shoot himself three times each in the heart and the head.

Strangely the Washington D.C. cops concluded Mikhail Lesin died due to a series of drunken falls. The FBI believes he died to a beating ordered by Putin or the Kremlin based off the intelligence they received. The #1 guy in Russian media, top guy at RT News, was supposed to get a beating, not killed. The killing was accidental alright.  The bottom like is Putin achieved his goal sending a message to everybody who worked in news that nobody is immune. Just think how many people would be killed if Russia was full of American journalists, newscasters and bimbos who goes on tv to say they had sex with Putin in 2006.
