I don't slow down or dodge chipmunks or squirrels, they are likely to change direction
at the last second and you are just as likely to swerve into them as you are to dodge
them. Besides, they don't cause much body damage to a pickup and I've known people
to swerve to miss a varmint only to wreck themselves. Also the little critters seem to
do pretty well getting out of the way.

As a city girl, Angel Eyes is as enamored about squirrels or chipmunks as she is about
every other animal. She will also feed the poor starving creatures even with a sign 10 ft
away (3 meters) telling her specifically not to.

Sunset in Cheyenne,

If you are pursuing an FSUW my advice is to take a photo of every flower or sunset
and send it to your girl in the FSU.

Angel Eyes goes out every morning and picks veggies for our meals.

Sometimes the hail stones beat up the veggies

I have an older stepson who got married. We drove to be there with him.

Minnie me is a big boy and is feeding himself the day after the wedding.

Mini Me is playing checkers at my stepson's reception. Bet you didn't know
he could double jump?

Thanks for sharing, Bill.

Hail stones!    The weather in the Dakotas is interesting to say the least.

That does not look like a child's plate - I guess no hot dogs and French fries for Mini me.  And juice of course.  Russian women are very mindful about feeding their children nourishing food.

I'm in Cheyenne Wyoming these days.

We got Mini Me his own plate and ordered some side dishes for him.
I don't think mini me ever had a hot dog. Maybe when he gets old
enough to go with me to a baseball game, he will have his chance.

Cheyenne!  You are now closer to civilization.

I know RW mothers and food for their children.   I took one child to the movies and bought him popcorn and a coke, telling him it was our secret.  He kept the secret.  Actually we shared the popcorn because the box was huge.

When the kids go to school,  they experience freedom about what to eat.  That is until mama discovers how to go online and see what the kid ate at lunch.   ;D  I agreed with her - he ate pizza every day of the week under the a la carte plan.  So we put him on a lunch plan (veggies and a meat).

Your son is adorable, Bill.

Russians and Ukrainians do eat wieners, boiled and usually served with mashed potatoes and a hot mustard. In Ukraine, they are also baked with sauerkraut. The sauerkraut dish is our daughter's favourite food, though I make it with ribs, which also is common in Ukraine.

After the fall of communism, the biggest mistake Boris Yeltsin's regime made was not to disband the KGB altogether. Instead it changed its name to the FSB and, to many observers, morphed into a gangster organisation, eventually headed by master criminal Vladimir Putin. - Gerard Batten

Yes. It's delicious. Your wife may know this recipe. It is common in Ukraine. I don't know about Russia. It's also one of my mother's favourite foods.

Thank you, he must take after his mom.
I've bought polish wieners before which are precooked and Angel Eyes put them
in the same package as the bacon which was not precooked I got her to believe
that we can't eat uncooked bacon in the USA but I stopped buying the wieners.

I agree with Boethius 2Tall, MiniMe is a very sweet, adorable little boy. I'd love to have a sweet, cute little boy just like Mini-me in the next 3 to 4 years. I want that so badly, I pray about it every night before I go to sleep. Talk to God and ask him to bring a wonderful FSU woman into my life, and bless us with 2 beautiful, healthy children. I say I want 2 little girls....but if I have one little girl and one healthy little boy as sweet and cute as Minime, then I would be the most blessed man on Earth.

Little boys are a handful though!  :) Oh my goodness, as my Nephew grew up, I was constantly chasing him around everywhere, throwing the baseball and football with him, driving him to the parks and playing on the playground with him for hours. Taking him to water parks and amusement parks with his friends and girls I were dating at the time. My Nephew literally wore me out. I am in extremely good physical shape, my cardio is outstanding, but that little boy just wore me out and made me feel like I was 160 years-old!

I am sure after a day of chasing Minime around, you feel like you have had the workout of your life Bill!  :)

I've never been to Independence pass. I wanted to go there in early May of 1985
but it wasn't open for the season yet. Angel Eyes loaded up an ice chest, Mini me
got into his car seat and we headed for the Hills.

Angel Eyes shot the video with my cell phone while I was driving. I always have
a charged battery and she never does especially at the end of the day.
I don't recommend trying to peek over the edge while driving down the road.

Great vid, Beel

It is a lady's 'thang'- lack of a charged battery.

I have bought my women family members - incl. SC-  backup battery cell packs..

Unless they have one for each handbag... then it's uncharged' ..)))

Please excuse the Curmudgeon in my posts ..he will be cured by being reunited with his loved one ;)

Yeah, it's a given

It's also a given that they will commandeer your phone since it has a fully
charged battery. It's also a given that they will leave their phone in the car
when they go exploring in nearly any kind of shopping situation and therefore
be completely out of contact.

The Sunsets in the mountains can be amazing.

As it started getting dark, Angel Eyes kept snapping photos and playing with the
settings on my phone. Who knows if I will ever get them back to where I had them.

Color started filling the horizon

Beautiful photos Bill.

Have you done Wolf Creek or Red Mountain passes yet? In winter, both will get the adrenaline pumping (even in summer it can happen). Both are in SW Colorado, the most beautiful part of the state in my opinion.

I did Wolf Creek pass back in the 1980's, it's a bit far for a day trip from Cheyenne.
I haven't seen Red Mountain pass. Angel Eyes is excited to see everything, we could
leave on a Friday and get back on a Monday. There are many, many places that I haven't
seen around here and if you have a favorite by all means let me know.
