Trip to Moscow, Kazan, and YO
« on: April 30, 2005, 02:23:17 PM »
All was well with travel by airlines.  I fly Chicago, Warsaw, Moscow..  Then take train to Kazan..

Seems is some accident and derailment on main line and the 12 hour trip becomes 20.  I finally arrive in Kazan and there is my Natasha.  Still there and waiting.

I have ten days with her on this visit..  I get ill with some bug..   I meet her family again and some new friends..

On return all is OK with train Kazan to Moscow.   My flight is delayed to Warsaw, my flight to Chicago is cancelled..   Eventually get to Warsaw,   So I sit in Warsaw and meet many persons.  We talk, we drink some piva..   Eventually get flight to Newark.

My opinion; Newark is better than JFK airport.....    Only my plane to pass customs and immigration..   I did not transfer to different terminal for eventual flight to Chicago....  Arrived at ORD late evening and choose to stay at hotel... I go home to Wisconsin next day...

I attempt to phone Natasha, she is not home...   She phones my daughter Katrina and finally all is OK...
