Thanks for correcting me on that. Only Micronesia and the USA that use mm/dd/yy
but more than a few who use yy/mm/dd. Most everyone else complied with the ISO
and DIN standards.

When my older son was a boy, he would agree that we weren't going to buy any
toys, then we would go to Toy's R us and play with the toys for a couple of hours.

Yesterday, I dropped Angel Eyes off at Ross Dress for less and Mini-me and I
went to the book store. They had some books in the shapes of tractors, trucks
and motorcycles. Mini-me won't pose for a photo, you have to snap it when he
looks up, which with a cell phone is nearly impossible, because it has to think
first.

We took off Saturday to explore the Rocky Mountain national park.

Angel Eyes loves the mountains and is wild about wild flowers. We found many interesting
rocks to put around her flowers and garden at home. If you've hiked uphill with a child
on your back at 12000 ft (3657 meters) then you know what it's like. Angel Eyes as far
as I can tell go keep going forever. She has a resting heart rate at about 38 beats per
minute. When you marry a younger woman you need to keep up with her. I managed
ok.

Very handsome little boy Bill. He is absolutely adorable. I hope to be as blessed as you someday soon.

Although I want either 2 girls, or 3 girls. I do not necessarily want any boys, as boys are so hard to raise, very expensive, not as sweet as little girls and talk back to their parents. Little girls, on the other hand, are Angels 24/7. Girls never talk back to their Mom and Dad and always do as they are told the first time they are told do something. Girls are very cheap to raise, they never want you to buy them anything expensive, even as they enter their teenage years. Plus, little girls just adore their Dads in a way I am not sure little boys can. I am actually closer to my Sister's 2 little girls than her Son and I enjoy spending time with my nieces more than my Nephew.

You have probably said it somewhere, but I forget. How old is the little terror? He does look well behaved in your pictures, so maybe he is the one boy that is easy to raise.

Angel Eyes took photos of some chipmunks and was just as excited about them as
she was the Elk. She also took some photos of a black bear but we haven't found
them yet. It's possible that in her excitement (she gets really excited when she sees
any animal including a robin) that she either didn't take the photo or missed them
entirely in the shot.

Mini-me is pretty good for the most part. Boys drive their fathers nuts and girls drive
their mothers nuts. Boys (as a general rule) get more stitches and fall out of more
trees and punch each other in the nose more often. They tend to get over their fights
and hold fewer grudges.
 
Girls (as a general rule) use their charm more than their fists, but they can be very
bratty* (especially to each other) which you tend not to notice if you are a victim
of their charm offensive which most fathers, uncles and older brothers are).

Ask a few mothers of 12-16 year old girls and you will learn more.

My daughter gave her parents much more trouble than did her brother regarding 'talking back' and many other things.

I finally got her to quit slamming her bedroom door by telling her I would remove it from its hinges and take it away the next time she did it.

She only did it once more her remaining time living at home . . . and quickly came running out saying "It was an accident !"
