Not much sleep around here.  Recovery time is when the little girl is asleep, which is between feedings.

Simoni,

Congratulations, what a beautiful little girl!

What is her name?

These days will soon pass....and so will the coming months and years.

Mamma D  :)

Yes, Mamma D... months and years. In Russia we have saying "Маленькие детки - маленькие бедки" that means "Little children - small troubles"  :) My son will be 17 in March. Even he has never gave me so much troubles and I know he has good friends, every time when he goes to a rock concert that usually finishes very late or fishing with his friends of course I worry.  :)

Life will get worse now that the little princess is home... but you will still enjoy it.

These days will soon pass....and so will the coming months and years.

Saver them while they are here ... for the day will come much to soon when you will fervently wish you could hold .....Just one short moment in your hands.

These are truly gifts from God... Entrusted to us for a short while.

The goal is to have one a little bit  naughty....but not too naughty! An angel in training ... but still a child of this life.....and ours to ho;d and hug....

And one day they will leave with a smile and a wave.....and your heart will forever go with them. May they be strong mature adults contributing to society and their world.

One of the sweetest moments in life, is to rock a sleeping child and feel the warmth of love shared.....

Mamma D  :)

Very wise words, Mamma D.  Thank you for sharing.

Just saw the first hint of a smile a few minutes ago, after nursing :-)

And she looks at me with a probing stare, wondering "where am I, and who is he?"  LOL

My son, when he was a little boy, looked more like me, now he looks more like his father.

There are two photos I attached. The first photo is a photo of my son when he was 1 y.o. and the second - me when I was 1  y.o.  :)

I actually had 2 sets of twins within 3 years of each other (well not me but you know what I mean).  ::)

Recovery time Simoni, what's that all about then?  ;)

Proud? You bet!
And so they grew to become Men......and fathers.
There are several more who were children of my heart....
I have one grand daughter, who is a Capt in the Air Force and her brother is a 5'2" butt kicking Marine recruiter!

The other two are still in school, and Basil is at Stanford.

It is requested i not post his picture online......
May those that love us, love us.
And those that don't love us,May God turn their hearts.
And if He doesn't turn their hearts,May He turn their ankles,
So we will know them by their limping.

God put your arm about my shoulder... and your hand over my MOUTH!
