I don't know if this novel was mentioned on this site. It's about a guy in the US who moves to Moscow in 2008 to help his grandmother. He has several interesting experiences that many of us can relate to, particularly if you spent time in Moscow. Although it is fiction, you could imagine someone experiencing these things today. I like that it also includes events that were going on back then and still going on today.
