I put bacon in my potato salad as well.

Angel Eyes runs my social calendar, today she had me working
in the yard/garden all day today and tomorrow there is a Russian
picnic in Denver.

There were probably a hundred RU expats there and every FSUW thought that
they needed to feed me  so that I wouldn't waste away to nothing.

Mini Me likes any kind of picnic or celebration




I was carrying Mini Me around and he decided he didn't like
where we we going so he bit me on the top of the head.
He got into big trouble for that.

I found some Russian dressing in the store, I ate it when I was a kid
(during the cold war) at which time I am reasonably sure that the
USA didn't import large quantities of salad dressing from Russia
nor exchange recipes for the same.




Obviously I had to buy it and bring it home. Later I made a salad
for Angel Eyes and presented the bottle as

"Official Authentic Russian Dressing for Salads."
The bottle was snatched out of my hand then scrutinized, it's contents were
tasted, smelled, examined and proclaimed to be a complete fraud. I had to eat
the whole bottle of phony salad dressing over the next couple of weeks
without any help at all.

We have a snow storm rolling in and are supposed to get between
one and three feet of snow. Oh joy!

More snow, luckily I have a home office day scheduled and don't
have to drive around with the cRaZiEs They have drivers who
think that their 4x4 vehicle has magic unicorn tires so they drive
at 75-80 mph then crash their cars off the road occasionally wiping
others out in the process.

When I lived in Colorado, it was a natural assumption that those crazy snow speeders in their SUV's where most likely recently relocated Californians or Texans.

Tornadoes, baseball-sized hail in Laramie County, Cheyenne

CHEYENNE – A tornado touched down briefly 11 miles northeast of Cheyenne just after 4:30 p.m. today, and others were reported near both Carpenter and Pine Bluffs.
No information was immediately available about possible injuries or property damage, though first-responder scanner traffic indicated at least one home on County Road 151 near Carpenter suffered extensive roof damage.
A low-pressure storm system moved into Cheyenne and Laramie County from the west Monday afternoon around 3 p.m., bringing thunderstorms, wind, rain and hail. Northern parts of the city and county reported baseball-sized hail, causing damage to vehicles and property around 4 p.m.
As of 5:20 p.m., tornado warnings were in effect for southeastern and northeastern Laramie County until 5:45 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

It also came down badly in Minnesota and Wisconsin ....

Angel Eyes does about 90% and I contribute my 10% of the work.

Every interesting and or flat rock in or near the Rocky Mountains was scrutinized
so that I could run out and get it and carry it home for various landscaping needs.




The mail man like to make an alternate route through Angel Eyes then short
flowers to the neighbors hourse. A small pile of strategically placed stones
cut his shortcut short.

Yes of course and Angel Eyes recorded it using a super bright light to
blind me so that I couldn't see them. He loved the fireworks but was
even more inspired by the colored glow sticks that were handed out.

He's really growing up.

Angel Eyes filmed a thunder cloud as we were heading home after
we spend the day traveling to Colorado Springs, the zoo and sites
in between

And fell down the elephant's trunk
The elephant sneezed and went down on his knees
And that was the end of the monkey monkey monkey monk...

I learned that some when I was a little boy. We tended to sing songs in the
car when we go places and that's something that I have continued. Angel
Eyes and Smiley girl sing all these songs while we drive down the road.
