It's already May 9 in all FSU countries. Congratulations upon the holiday that memorializes the great national effort, both civilian and military, that lead to the surrender of Nazi Germany on May 9, 1945.

Interesting how many people refer to Nazi Germany (and then there is Imperial Japan also).
This is to distinguish bad Germany from good Germany, I guess.
Meanwhile, France, UK, Canada, Australia, etc., just get to be France, UK, Canada and Australia.
Even sillier, war memorials in some countries leave out the word Germany and just refer to victory over the Nazis. This is so not to offend well paying German tourists.

This is to distinguish bad Germany from good Germany, I guess.
Also Fascist Itali, and perhaps Franco Spain? (Spain sent volunteers to join the German's eastern campaign).
