Agency feedback please
« on: August 21, 2009, 12:15:23 AM »
www.online-dating-ukraine.com

Does anyone have any advice based on experience of this agency? I found it on a link from a travel guide (Lonely Planet!) cos I'm going to Kiev : >) next week.
I ask because
1. There were about 100 responses (letters) in 48 hrs plus about 40 smiles
2. The deal is the first letter from a woman is free but the rest cost 5-20 $ each
3. A large number of replies are from way too young 'uns ....
4. 96% of the first letters are totally generic, 1 actually mentioned my real first name and 4 mentioned my handle.  and then they pasted in generic stuff which a robot could have written - the same robot.

Yeah and of course I really do look 10 years younger and I do have +average income etc but .. ; >)  .... There's no fool like an old fool ... and a fool and his money are soon parted and the Ukraine is on Credit Watch and the Sovereign Debt of the country is liable to default.   So .. there will be desperate people and there will be genuine (?) decisions to find a man that can take them away from all that.  However  how long it would last when they get to your country where there are several million younger men  around ... But then how many domestic marriages end in the divorce courts - more that 40%??  So I guess you pays yer money and you makes yer choice.  An overweight loud mouthed western feminist or a svelte young woman     who used to have a decent job but now cannot find a job waiting tables ... It's a difficult question .... I digress.  Anyone know about that agency?

I don't use agencies anymore... but my gut feel about this just from looking at it is:

1.  Most legit agencies serve a small geographic area (1 or 2 cities) and know all the girls in their agency.  The fact that the girls are listed all over the place in Ukraine is worrisome.

2.  Pay-per-opening-a-letter is usually a scam in general.

3.  Generic-sounding letters are usually a bad sign.

4.  The street address on the site (429 Weber Road, Romeoville, IL) in the United States is shared with Natasha Club, which doesn't have a great reputation (to say the least).

My advice: stay away.

If you want to use agencies there's plenty of legit ones.  Go use one of them.

If you are really serious about this hunt, educate yourself and read old topics in the forum.  It's harder than you think to find a good woman.  Don't let the airbrushed photos on agency sites fool you.

I still have my profile on at this agency NataschaClub and I get all these same messages rambler. I am done with this agency and do not reply to any of them anymore.

It is kind of sad because I know some of these women are honest in their search. Once you begin corresponding with them and get to know more about them well it becomes addictive and you still want to come back... and end up paying for opening all of these messages again and again. It just doesn't make sense.

I registered at Elena's Models on the advice of Faux Pas and on Luckylovers.net on the advice of Docetae. Others told me about Singles.ru I am also on Freepersonals.ru All of these sites you can quickly give your email address and follow one of the ten commandments. Do not pay for opening letters bud.

Now since I can't go until next summer I will let these memberships expires and will come back next spring. I agree with everybody who told me it is too long a delay almost a year of exchanging letters. But this isn't your case rambler.
