Say it ain't so
« on: August 28, 2009, 08:42:10 AM »

When talking about agencies, there's truly only a handful that will get a collective thumbs up from the majority of people who are taking the FSU dating route.  Sadly it seems that the past week has brought about a slight change to the ever respected Khersongirls.com.

I've now been getting a daily spamming of about 4-5 emails per day from women at the above listed sight. Normally, one might think that these emails are legit but a few of the emails have had thank you messages for gifts sent to them when I've sent nothing out. A few emails have said they liked what I had on my profile but then would ask me if I liked do X,Y & Z yet my profile already lists my interests in being into X,Y or Z.

Say it ain't so.... please tell me I'm looking too much into this and that Kevin and his mighty reputation is still on the good. I was really feelin' positive about using Khersongirls but now I'm starting to  question my judgement. :wallbash:

Welcome again Global,

I'm probably the very last person to know anything at all about agencies, but reading your post, 'if you can't beat em, join em' came to mind.

FWIW, maybe nuthin.

The interpreters are writing hoping you'll write back.  For a fee of course.  If you look through the site you'll find photos that are 3, 4 ,5 even 6 years old.

You're better off going to one of the free sites.

Sadly I think you're right. I know some of their photo's/profiles are old but then again a lot are new, which is no different from most sights.  It's the whole "cold calling" aspect that they haven't done before and I'm bummed out to see it happening as I really felt comfortable with their services.... now I'm second guessing them and their women.

In keeping with my initial statement of getting flooded with hello emails (4-5 per weekday), I've now been hit with three of which are ladies who I was planning on reaching out to.  I know these letters sent by them was from the office and not the lady herself but I'm seriously at crossroads on this one.

This is a moral dilemma with me as I don't write to those who wrote me first as I know 99% of the time it's the agency drumming up business... if I write to them I feel like a straight up sucker but on the other hand I'd like to through caution to the wind and in the very least send me own initial hello letter.

I've boiled my situation down to writing the one's I'm interested in who sent me a hello letter a hello letter of my own. If I get turned down, I'm thinking the agency in question should refund me my $$ as their initial hello was fake. Thoughts ?

Dude, think Home Phone numbers....  if they're not available,
what's the point? IMO, an agency's function is to facilitate
a first contact or meeting. Break away from them ASAP.

I think you'll never see that money back. Invest it more wisely.

Perhaps a new manager thinks he is doing a good service.
Would be a shame to see one of the reputable agencies drown.
No it is not a dog. Its really how I look.  ;)

I hear ya.

As to the $$ if it wasn't Khersongirls.com I wouldn't even dream about seeing a penny come back my way. I suppose this would be the last possible link to their positive status, at least in my books that is.
