1. Two live Alaskan Lobsters boiled 13 minutes
2. Several two inch think cuts of Chilean Filet Mignon grilled to perfection
3. A good bottle of French Clicquot Champagne
4. Some excellent Sicilian Wine
5. Kids fed and in bed
6. Two new iPhones
7. She's smiling at me...

What's it all add up to?

Our 7th Anniversary.  ;D

Congratulations!  Seven years is a substantial amount of time.  You are indeed living the:

La Dolce Vita.

Of the seven sins, you seem to be repeating "gluttony" more than "lust."  Your "pride" is justifiable while we experience the "envy."

"Greed", "sloth", and "wrath" are missing.

Obviously, he had a few minutes while she showered.  It's wonderful that he wanted to share the news with us.

BTW BC, "Seven Deadly Zins" is a palatable, inexpensive zinfandel from California.  For table wine I try to limit my wife to less than $15, and she chooses it the most for our daily meals and afterwards.  It is comparable to the primitivo variety from your area.
