Trusted in what sense? I met my wife through singles.ru, so I would say yes. There are 99,800 profiles with photos from St. Petersburg and region. Sure, there will be some prostitutes, some women looking for sponsors, but that will still leave tens of thousands of legitimate women to potentially meet. Sure, most won't be interested in foreigner, but conversely you will have close to zero women looking specifically for foreigners to fleece. It is nonetheless a numbers game: you will have to send a great many messages to get replies, you will have to use some common sense and of course the younger and more attractive you are, the better your response rate will be

There is now an English interface to singles.ru and the woman also indicate what languages they know. The best strategy if you do not know Russian is to simply write a message in English to those who indicate a knowledge of "английский." The questionable sites are of course easier, as they want to facilitate the milking of you for every penny that you have

Imtranslator is good but its so slow.

Have you tried translate.google.com? In my experience it does a decent job.

No I am not....... I am mixed race I am 25% Russian but never been in Russia.

I don’t play around, from the beginning I wanted to find a real Russian woman who cold call me and who I could call, who could come bye buss, car or flight but only 1 time I found one Marina who I could call but she couldn’t afford to even call me back. She sounded calm and honest, she never spoke about lack of money or anything else but we decided to end it because she couldn’t afford to come or call me back.
