A cry for Help - if there is anyone coming from the UK to Kharkov, I am desparate for some contact lens fluid from Boots - my supply has run out and the stuff here is rubbish.

Have you tried shopping it online?  Or have a friend mail it to you?? We use both methods.

SJG, do you know about the eye clinic/hospital on Chernyshevsko Street (between Mayakovskogo and Vesnina)?  I walked past it with different  women several times and it was discribed to me as the best in Kharkiv for eyes.
Perhaps something there that is not available elsewhere in Kharkiv.

ManLooking - thanks for the info, I'll check it out. I have been to most ot the Contact Lens Opticians here, all they sell is 'All-in-one' type of fluids, which I've used in the UK and they don't do the job correctly.
Best responce so far from a lady at an opticians - ''I can't understand why you foreigners are so fussy about what chemicals you put in your eyes''
