You have another option: simply go and discover the country as a tourist. Tens of millions of people travel every year to foreign countries. It can actually be quite a lot of fun

I wouldn't worry too much about scamming. At the end of the day, you are in control of what money you will part with. Simply do not spend money you do not want to spend and you will be fine. Just go, have fun, it it works out great, if it doesn't you will have some fun memories not matter what happens.

So ... wow! I have to say.. I think these agencies are evil crooks.  I'm on Skype with her... she's talking to me... yet it lists her as being online on their website.

I noticed that while I'm on with her for an hour.  The site lists her as active (without camera)... she gets ready to go out with some friends.  The friends come to her room.  Wave at me... they all look pretty and dressed... she says she must go... everyone waves... she dc's and leaves...

Now... I've noticed they've had her logged on to their site (without camera for over 5 hours straight)....

seems strange to me.. but even after she left with her friends.. it had her as active and on ... so i did something strange.. I said hello... she says hello back.. i ask what she was gonna do later... she says she is going dancing later tonight but that she's been waiting to talk to me !!!

WTF! I just talked to her live on skype from her room.. and the agency has her talking to me (non-video) as if she hadn't just talked to me 3 minutes ago.

I cry foul! That's some BS.  Wow.  I mean, I guess I trust her more now than ever BUT... look at that site/agency as very very scary...

That's just foul now though.  Funny thing is, I don't remember if she told me she got paid on ICQ/Skype or the live chat (non-video) I had with her before. 

This is conflicting to me.  Cause I asked her live video (skype) if she had additional friends who were paid for these services... she said "no, this is news to me, I could be paid for this?" ... so I'm like.. WAIT... wait... which one answered my previous question stating that they paid her basically nothing?

.... are there any very legitimate sites on here?  I looked up her profile number and found her on like 5 sites... all have different ages for her ranging from 18-20... (now I'm curious what her real age is... I took it for granted to be 20... but now I wonder) all the same glamour shots.  I have like 50 pics so far that are non-model shots from her.

This is yet more proof that dating agencies such as Anastasia and the like are in their last days.. They may still have a working business model, but as technology evolves and the Internet makes its way to the most backward remote villages in the FSU, dating agencies will not be able to keep up.. As evidenced by Seraphim's latest post, they're having a hard time as it is keeping track of who they're scamming, who's talking to whom, and what they're telling them.. The only future I see for them is the cam sex industry.. The money is good, and everyone knows exactly what they're getting..

I am curious, are you talking to her for free on Skype or still paying to talk to her via an agency? Hopefully, it is the former, not the latter

I don't pay to talk to her anymore at all.  She's the one who asked me to stop using the agency.  I actually told her I'd like to talk via skype but if all I can get is video chat services... I'd take it... and when she tried to type in the information a note came up saying "Violation of International Brokers act....."... and it blocked the info...

She wrote information on a paper and put it up to the camera and said.. email that... I did.. and we talked on email for a few days... then she said a few days later... here's my skype... add it now.. and that's about it.

If she is the one who asked you to talk without going through the agency she must truly be into you  That is good. Best to chat by Skype for free and go see her in a few months. AS I noted, go, have fund. Even if you don't meet her,  simply go as a tourist and have a fun adventure.

Actually it is nothing new. You can register as 'website owner' at anastasia, put up a name and design, and use any of their profiles including video getting a piece of the cash it makes. To find any profile on AW on sites that seem to be different is nothing strange at all.

As for the cam sex industry, guess where dating agencies like AW got the current chat technology from.

As long as nobody is forced to work or look at it, it is a free choice of people to work there and to look at it.
I agree with Possum that is more honourable as pretending to be interested in marriage, though most men just pretend to be interested as well.
