I was chatting with 2012 about the web cam girls on Hot Russian Brides / Russian Love Match and it got me thinking.

I chatted via webcam before with friends, but never through an agency service. For those that have used this service, how does it work?

As I understand it:

The video is choppy and delayed.
You can see the girl, but she can't see you.
There is video, but no voice. All communication is typed.

You type, the interpreter types in Russian to your web cam girl, she types back in Russian and what she says is translated to you. Or, is the interpreter talking to the web cam girl while she just sits in front of the computer?

Is this all correct?

Some of the girls speak English and type for themselves.. most others dont. 

It also depends on the affiliate agency.  For example, the Orchid Agency in Odessa, with branches in Nikolaev and other places, one of the largest on the site and the one HRB says is their best, rarely allows a lady to chat alone regardless of her english ability.  In other words, there is always a handler. 

This girl, 221343 , I used to chat with a lot when she first joined, before the doctored fotos... she had her own computer and would chat from home.. nice conversations.  Then, she invited me to video chat with her because she would be going to the agency to use the cam.  Total change in attitude because I glanced at her cam and didn't keep it turned on.  She got mad.  I said why are you mad?  What do you want me to do.. sit with the cam on while you stare into it?  But, I had noticed she wasnt typing.. so I asked.. whats going on?  Then she told me about her "admin" who was typing for her.. for the ten or so men that wanted to chat with her.. I wasn't viewing on the cam.. so I got ignored.. guess what?  I had one more chat with her and admonished her for being part of the scam and that was the end of that.  BTW.. if you view her profile.. it claims she is getting married and she thanks profusely the Orchid agency.. its all BS.  That ispart of their "internal advertising" mechanism they do through the site.  They rotate the ladies who are "engaged".  Big pile of BS.  She also complained I didnt send her gifts... I didnt send because she complained about it.. LOL

The most problematic girls HRB has are the ones who accidentally join their site and are not part of an agency.  It is possible for a lady to do that.  I witnessed numerous girls who were doing things that were, to put it delicately, not lady like. 

But, the worst of all are the things like what is happening to DJgothman.  These are cases where they identify a mark, use certain suggestive forms and processes to get a guy hooked.. start pimping him for more chats and letters with the goal of getting him to come over.  Chat and letter and gift money is NOT how the corrupt agencies make big $$$.  The big money is when guys arrive.  Pay intro fee.. pay 15 an hour for agency terps ( mostly unqualified) they ONLY have meetings in the most high end and classy places in Kherson.. (kick back scheme?) you must use their taxis and pay for every ride including getting the terp to your place.. and so on and so on and so on.. they were real pissed that I didn't rent an apartment through them and gave me a ton of pressure to move.. and then the girl he came to see suddenly disappears.. but gosh Mark.. you are already here.. you might as well meet some other girls.. come to the agency and check out who we have.. oh and i will show you the new profiles that arent on the site yet.. that my friends is a $1000 a day business model and they are doing it four or five times a week now that it is slow.  When I was there they claimed there were nine other men visiting and Valentin confided in me he was having problems with all of them.  Valentin also suggested I take Yulia shopping as a way to get her interested in me.   

Anyway.. the girls can not see who they are talking to on cam.. and they do not know who is viewing them  A guy can watch a girl without her knowing it.  The cam quality is very low.. speeds are low and so on.  HRB claims the internet connections arent sufficient, but, I think everyone knows that is a lie. 

Bottom line is that site promotes, allows and enables some of the most heinous MOB scamming that exists on the web.  The very vehicle they claim sets them apart, the cam chats, are abused every single day and they know it.  Nadia @ customer service spends her days fending off complaints.. thats all they do.. collect money from suckers and fend off the guys who feel ripped off.. and the number of men who feel that way is growing rapidly.

Sorry I ranted.. I am still pissed off two years later.. and DJs situation makes me just as angry as I was then because Valentin Belan and Orchid and the entire scumbag lot of them are still getting away with it.

If you'd Go West a bit, and manage to get a Sep.1993 copy of British magazine "The Face", you might even read (in an article about the videofilming in Moscow...) about certain Olga you've already heard about (where's the "sealed lips" smilie?)
