Any one do a K-2 recently?

My wifes son is preparing for his interview in Warsaw. A k-2. Packet 3 received and sent back. But when we got packet 4 it included forms DS-156K and DS-156 which are nonimigrant and imigrant forms but for fiancees. Very confusing. I'm wondering if a K-2 actually needs any of these forms at all or did they send the wrong ones? Anyone here file for a K-2 in the last year or so?
