Will Russia Join NATO's MissleShield ?

NATO announced they will invite Russia to join NATO's Missleshield defense.  Do you think Russia will join or Nyet?

Russia should just join NATO and forget all the old cold war paranoia. What would the downside be for Russia if they did join NATO?

Thanks BC and glad to see my guess was wrong.  This is truly a first and a historic moment and I hope nothing gets in the way of progress and cooperation.  The day when terrorists have some missles to sling is not that distant and Europe would be a convenient target.
