12th Anniversary
« on: August 16, 2011, 10:50:18 PM »
Its been 12 years now since my UW came into my life.  I think I love her more each day and for bringing her daughter to be mine also, what a godsend.  She is my soul mate.  I wont say it has all been wine and roses we have had our very difficult times, but thru it all she has always stood loyally by my side.  I am currently in Afghanistan, so wont be able to hold my bride for a little while longer, but that just makes the anticipation better.  I hope all of you have many wonderful years together as I have.

Congratulations.  May you have many more happy years together.

12 years is long for RW.  Is this a record for active RWD members.

Good question.
We're grandparents here now.

Not sure if 'came into [Sailor's] life' means the day she landed or her first letter or what...
Tomorrow, will be 11 yrs since we landed here after the visa interview.

12 years or 11, both are success stories. Congrats to you all  :D

The wife and I are almost on 2 years and if it ended today, I'd be just as thankful for what I have had. It's been glorious and I have the most spectacular wife

Congratulations to all!   Been awhile since I looked at this site.  My wife Tania and I have been married over 10 years, having met in UA in 2000.   We just got back from a trip to Ukraine and feel as if we haven't aged a bit!

Somehow I missed htis the first time around..

Congrats Sailor! 12 years definitely qualifies you as one of our top tier OMB's, along with Muzh, Dan, tfcrew, Mendeleyev, and honorary member Boethius -- who else is over a decade?

Be safe and return to the family asap!

I would assume there are a few more "old timers" who no longer post. It would be nice if we knew about them also. But maybe impossible.
