I recall little about Smooth Operator other than what I read about RWG.  That man did have a twisted sense of humor, and by comaprison I should not have accused you of such.

Smooth made fun of other men's physical shortcomings, using real photos.  Why?  I consider that low.  I recall that he also attempted to deceive RW who he felt were deceiving him, as if it were a game.  A reasonable man would have walked away, saving his energy. 

Yet, some of his logic was perfect.  I considered him an enigma.  Did he ever connect with a RW worth of repeat visits?

That's interesting,, to have second rate mutha's , would indicate to me someone has to be at different rate, or level.
You cant have a second rate steak(or hotdog), without having a standard of comparison?

generalities and theories based on little to no experience and more shock jock, than reality?
 I saw mostly tasteless theories ,stemmed from either inexperience, or a very self centered view of life and relationships.
 Good luck to him, but entering relationships from that  mindset , he was going to need it in any culture.

Certainly there are good, bad, and ugly on both sides of the process.  The OP, however, is a rather young gentleman just beginning to consider the option of possibly looking abroad.  He posed a valid question for one with no experience with either the women or the "process" (for lack of a better word). 

My suggestion for avoiding the ANYONE question to 'anyone' doing this, including the OP (from one who is not married to an RW), is STOP looking for a damn wife. Find a great woman, date, woo, court, have a blast, fight, kiss, bitch, love, bite, experience life.... a kick-ass girlfriend with whom the relationship flat lights your soul on fire.  When you find yourself in that kind of relationship then marry the woman who built it with you.

My take on the photo roasts was that he was mocking the agencies for their unsubtle advertising. The men were being used in any case. (No reasonable person would believe that smokinghotkovas would really marry and have children with mutants.)

I lost track of Smooth after I started a ruckus on the sinking ship. Perhaps Winnipeg Don will bring us up to speed because they keep in touch.

'Second-rate' was a euphemism for 'loser.' There wasn't any need for a gold standard because he felt that we were all compromised.
The score was that he was aware that he was as compromised as anyone else.
His forum persona was far too simplistic to be an accurate representation of the man, with the powerful intellect, behind the curtain.
Truth be told, I stold a few elements of my forum persona from him, a few from Scott Jay and snippets from others when I saw a spark.

What percentage of men haven't had a woman in two years.  It has to be low, although perhaps higher than the percentage of RW who would marry ANYONE. Unlike me, you had the opportunity to examine the profiles of men who write HRB women, so quite possibly there is some truth to what you say.
Who knows? Some of them certainly behaved as if they hadn't had a woman in years.

I met a few AM at an agency in Ukraine.  Most men seemed normal albeit inexperienced.
You can't go by that; I seem normal when people meet me in person.
I agree with you that a man needs to look into the mirror before undertaking this venture.  If there is something about him that local women don't like, the answer is not to date RW but to fix what's wrong or lower his goal..  
This is a too familiar motif and simple answers are rarely adequate to deal with the complex issues. I have a pretty good imagination but, oftentimes, I really struggle with a response to these folks that will do any good at all.

This business about what percentage of FSU women will marry ANYONE is analogous to worrying about housekeeping while the place is burning down.  

Bottom line:  I believe you are taking this too seriously.  This question was raised by a 21-yo.  I suggest that you tackle questions such as:  How did a fool and money ever get together?

Don't overthink this. Many of us weren't second-rate until we hit our forties or fifties. The story has been told endlessly on these forums; I hope that I don't have to make it endlessly plus one.

I don't agree. There is always someone richer, smarter, more handsome even when a man is in his thirties  That is life. You can always find someone more first-class if you look and you can always find someone farther down as well.

Honey, you're sooo young, you absolutely don't belong here. Here men are looking for wives. They spend a lot of efforts, time and money to bring somebody from abroad to live with them for quite a long time if not forever, because they're in the place in their life when they want to settle down. If you invite somebody from abroad to live with you, to leave everything there and start from the very beginning in a new place, you take a huge responsibility for this person. Do you need this responsibility just because you like how Russian girls look?
On the other hand, there are a lot of Russian girls, who already live in the USA - students, children of immigrants, etc. They're of your age, and they don't require your responsibility for their life, so it's easier and more clever to get acquainted with them

When are you going to realize that age doesn't matter when it comes to experience. Like I said before, its not the years, its the kilometers. Besides, how is someone going to get experience if they don't try?
