Is there a Flower shop at Pulkovo2 in St Pete?

Hi everyone

Long time reader, first time poster:D

I have a question for anybody who has recently arrived at Pulkovo 2.  Is there a readily available flowershop there?  Do they take credit cards?  Finally, if there is one, where is it?

If you think of presenting the woman you will visit with some flowers you are going to be late if you buy them at the airport. If she will not be waiting for you there, you can ask the driver who brings you to the place where you will stay to stop at a flower shop.

As alternative you can:

- stash flowers in your suitcase. With some wet cotton and plastic they will stay fresh and chances you will be stopped by customs are low.

- if you are not wanting to take the risk buy flower seeds or bulbs and ask her to let you know how they grow. The growing flowers will be a symbol of your growing relations.

I was there about a year ago, and can't recall seeing any flower shops, but all the big metro stations had little shops - most would take credit cards, but there are ATMs everywhere if they won't.

I like the idea of seeds or bulbs from Shadow.  And the line about the flowers growing as does the relationship.

I just hope the flowers do grow!

Well, it would be the very first RW I have ever heard of who would accept 'seeds' in place of beautful flowers - I just hope you speak very fluent Russia trying to sell her that line

Facilities at Pulkovo-2 Arrivals: Currency exchange office and cafeteria are located in the waiting room for arrivals. Lenrianta Duty-Free Shop in Arrival Hall for last minute gifts and a small bar on the left side just after passing through passport control are before customs. Carts and porters are available at the baggage claim.

I could imagine the look I would get coming out of the baggage area with a baggie full of dirt..

Couldn't be as bad as the look I got from Aeroflot check-in security, traveling alone in the summer, with a full length woman's fur coat in my suitcase...

I like the seeds, and of course the woman is fluent is English so a Romantic and thoughtful explanation would be easy

Also a promise of a real bouquet later would not hurt either.
