I recently initiated such an approach of Skype lessons for a RW. 

She was not progressing well with local teachers who were rigidly stressing proper grammar rather than conversational English.

She is very enthusiastic about this new approach.  It is more fun, involves less homework, does not require the travel to and from classes, and focuses on conversational English.

Yes. I can do it from home with Skype to your lady in Russia if she has Skype also.
