Russian Woman Aren't The Macigal Breed That Agencies Hype UP Them To Be.

I am a newbee and this was a message sent to me about his experiences or  views about Russian women.


[size="2"]So some thoughts:[/size]     [size="4"]    [/size][size="2"][size="4"]Russian  women are not the magical breed that agencies hype.[/size] You can find a  great woman in Russia just as you can find a great woman anywhere, but  this will come from either good luck or a very diligent search.[/size]

      [size="2"][size="4"]It's  easy to meet a pretty girl in Russia. [/size]We have an advantage. It's  primarily economic. This is a messed up country right now and these  women have a hard time finding a good man. Define "good man" as a man  with a good job, some money, and some stability. Lots of men with those  things know they have their pick, so they pick a few, a wife, a  mistress, another lover.[/size]    

     [size="2"]Still  most Russian women end up with Russian men. Russian men are not wife  beating drunks. There are many good men here, and many bad men. Same as  anywhere. [/size]         [size="2"]We're  dealing with a small group of women who actually marry  foreigners. Many girls see this as an option, but end up meeting  nobody or some real losers and decide to stick with what they have back  home. Some girls take a free ride to the US no matter who they have to  hitch a ride with. Some girls are professional daters and scammers. And  a few girls find a man they love.[/size]     

[size="2"] [/size][size="2"]This could be a very dangerous endeavor. Many men   are used as an escape.[/size][size="4"][size="2"]

     [/size][size="4"]Most of the women that do end up coming to the US   are divorced or single mothers.  [/size]

[size="2"] [/size][size="2"]I've never met a loud, obnoxious Russian woman.    [/size]

 [size="2"]Most  Russian women I've met are more serious, selfish, stubborn, and  reserved than American women I've known. They are also more feminine  and take much care in appearance and fashion.[/size]    

     [size="2"]In  general, Russian women are reserved about their feelings. They don't  throw around words of love easily and don't like to talk about past  relationships.[/size]     

[size="2"] [/size][size="2"][size="4"][size="2"]There  are more divorces per marriages in Russia than in the US. There  are many many single mothers. I have never met so many women and men  who cheat on each other as I have here.[/size] Cheating is extremely common.[/size][/size][size="4"]  [/size]

[size="2"]  [/size][size="2"]  Russian women do often take care of the house. That doesn't mean that  they are home makers. They are typically working women who take care of  the tiny apartment because men won't lift a finger around the house.

 Younger Russian women live at home and are used to being taken care of,  often spoiled, by Mama and Babushka. [/size][size="2"]

 [/size]    [size="2"]Children are put in day care as soon as possible. Usually everyone in the   household needs to work just to get by.

 [/size][size="2"] [/size]    [size="2"]I  don't recommend any agencies. I don't recommend tours. Too many  gold diggers and pro daters.

 I recommend sites where you buy direct  contact information (or free sites such as freepersonals.ru). You will  have to avoid scammers, but they are easy to spot.[/size]    

[size="2"] [/size]    [size="2"][size="4"]Can  you find a great woman in Russia? [/size] Of course, Because of the situation  here, there are many women available to us. We have the advantage that  we can get an introduction to nearly any woman we see on the net  (provided that they are real and not scammers).

 There really are all  kinds of women here, so you can use this advantage to be picky and sort  through the chaff to find that one girl that's just right for you.[/size]     [size="2"]

Well I could have wrote that as even as an agency owner those who know me & those who have used my services know that these are the very things I tell them all.

Russian women are no different than women anywhere else. They are in it for their own reasons & every one will give you a different reason, some for love, some for money, some for a ticket out & many more, but overall the quality & character are no different. I married one & have no regrets. She has all the qualities I longed for in my spouse & we have grown together & flourish. That is the essence of any relationship, whether the woman be Russian, American or Chinese.

Anyone expecting to find some kind of magical formula by ascribing to marry a Russian woman is purely having a pipe dream, because it just ain't going to happen. Any agency that guarrantees you will find that mythical creature is plain & simply bullsh!tting you.

Fantasies are cheap & free & if you expect to find a magical creature here you will be required to spend much time & money searching, for that creature can be found anywhere, not just in Russia!!:)

[color="#0000ff"] I will  generally agree but this is not unexpected as divorce for instance in Russia is  extremely simple, plus there is a number of cultural issues which add to the  problem. Almost any woman attractive (or otherwise) with one or more children is  all but destined to remain single and raise her child(ren) by herself so her  options are very limited, her options further decrease as she gets older and by  30 fall to near zero.  [size="4"] [color="#0000ff"]In regards to  the men I will agree, I have met many Russian men with 2, 3 and as many as 4  mistresses on the side, their wives seem to look the other way because of money,  social position and most importantly the safety and security of their children.  I will disagree about the women cheating, while I am aware of it happening  generally it is very rare as a married woman would be putting herself and her  children in jeopardy of being thrown out on the street.[/color][/size]

 [color="#0000ff"][size="4"] Of the women I have met and known  (those living in Russia) yes they take care of the home because the man will not  do a thing and they work hard sometimes at 2 jobs to support their family  because they have no other choice not because they want to. Most of the women  would prefer not to work if they had the opportunity so they could devote full  time to the care of her family and children. Of the women we know here in  America it is about a 50/50 split between women who stay at home and those who  work.[/size][/color]

   [size="2"][color="#0000ff"][size="4"]Not  all agencies are bad some are even well run businesses, you have to remember  they are in business to make money, they sell services, it is up to you to  research the agency (business) before doing business with them, then decide  if you want to do business with them. Too many men wrap their emotions up  into what is a business deal.[/size][/color][/size] [color="#0000ff"][size="4"] As for the tours, generally I agree  they are a waste of time and resources.[/size][/color]

With so many available women the problem becomes there are to many  choices and you can become overwhelmed.

I echo jb's thoughts on your post.  Whoever sent you that knows what he is talking about.  Just remember that for every "rule" there will be tons of exceptions.  Good luck.

I will disagree about the women cheating

You might be surprised. Of course not all women are like this, but I've seen the attitude here often that if men can cheat, women can too. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Besides, when a man cheats, there is a woman cheating along with him.

It's the attitude towards cheating that surprises me. Behaviour that would be looked down upon back home is often looked upon with a shrug of the shoulders. "Such is life."

Not all agencies are bad

True. But I have no direct experience with a good agency so I can't recommend one. Some men benefit from a good agency. Some men are better off without any agencies at all. The gentlemen I addressed is amongst the latter.

Regarding free and direct contact sites I have found it easy to sift through a couple of scammers. There are plenty of real women on these sites. I'd rather have to toss a few emails into the trash bin that cross the world to meet a woman who wants a free meal, vacation and a 1500 dollar coat. That's the type of women that lure men through bad agencies, but you rarely find them on the free or direct contact sites.

I'm glad to hear that several men happily married to Russian women agree with the things I have to say. I guess I'm headed in the right direction.

I agree with you. I was there in Kiev / Zhitomir Ukraine. Found good and bad there. I did use an agency. (CC - centered in Kharkov) They had a nice staff, but found out about some shady things through 2 girls listed and formerly listed through the site. I met a wonderful girl, much younger than me (she was 21 and I just turned 40), and she was a one in a million pick. Truly, could care less about your money and really wants to fall in love with the right guy. The age difference was not as much of an issue as I thought it would be, or as it would be in the USA, however, like many Russian / Ukrainian women, they have difficult lives and only make $100 / month salary on average, though in Kiev it is much higher (5X). We had a great week together, but it was dimned slightly by a family issue she had, unrelated to our meeting. I am hopefull that our relationship will continue, but had a great time in ukraine in any case. Also, I am going back on March 25 from Chicago.
