I am reading two good novels based in Russia, Moskovsky Station and Snowdrops.
The first is about homeless children in Saint Petersburg. It is a powerful story.
     The second is about a British man in his 30's working in Moscow who meets a young Russian woman. A lot of his thoughts about life mirror what many of us experience meeting Russian women as well as thoughts of the same old routine back home that draws us to
these women. Another good part of the book is how he knows he is getting himself
into trouble but he doesn't want the fantasy to end.
