Hello all, just joined after finding the site a few weeks ago and having looked around a bit before hitting the register button.

Started looking across the border for a potential wife about 3 years ago, Currently seeing a lady from Kiev (Have been to see her 3x and will soon be making 4th trip)

Maybe expand on a little more about yourself? Where are you from and how did you get introduced to the lady in Kiev?

I live in the UK, but am Dutch. Have had the privilege of also living in the US, Mexico and Brazil as I was growing up. I am 44 years young.

I first met her about 3 years ago. We had chatted for 30 mins on anastasiadate just before I was going to Kiev to meet someone else. The other lady never answered the phone when I arrived, but she did and we met the next evening (with an agency representative there). I was stupid enough to not get direct contact details, and when I got home she disappeared from anastasiadate.  I also left Anastasiadate soon after having finally realized it was too difficult to separate the scammers from genuine ladies.

About a year ago I signed up for another dating site (natashadate) and about 3 weeks later she contacted me on there, immediately making reference to our previous meeting. We cleared up what happened after that first meeting within a few emails (and not through the natashadate website) and have been communicating since trying our best using various translation tools and a friend of hers to translate when I visit.

But you have met her two more times since then? Without any agency reps involved?

Welcome still looking. Have you been paying your lady's friend for translation services? How old is your lady of interest?

My last two trips have been without agency involvement and I pay expenses for the translator, meaning I pick up dinner, drinks tabs etc, but we have only once visited an 'expensive restaurant' where the total bill for the three of us incl drinks exceeded $50 and that was something I had arranged for my lady as a surprise as it was her birthday (and even then her friend only had a small salad). Additionally have paid for the odd taxi when we have been out very late and have given the translator a few small gift as thank you's (english tea as she drinks a lot of tea and those type things)

thought I had mentioned her age, guess not, she is 42.

I am helping her pay for English lessons, which is costing me about $10 a week.
