Congrats Eric!

Great bunch of pictures. It is nice to see and hear about a country other than Ukraine or Russia.

-Eric

Thanks Eric!

It's been a busy couple of weeks. I had the pleasure of meeting a forum member a few times while they were in town for abit an had a great time. Also things have been busy with birthday's and preparations for the Holidays.

We had a mini-RU-US Thanksgiving celebration here with friends and family at the end of Nov. We obtained a young wild turkey and I did most of the cooking as my wife had some less than appetizing ideas of how to tackle 'cooking the bird'.

At the end of the day we all had a great time and everyone enjoyed the roast turkey and 'all the fixins' which was a bit of a culinary departure for them. They are already talking about next years 'feast'...

A poster about alcoholisim in a local gvt building.... There are also regualr commercials on tv realting the 'dangers' of the disease and spreading 'awareness.

The cities 'Yolka' is on it's way to being completed

A small yolka....

I took a trip out to the Dacha over the weekend with my FIL to make sure all is well and help pick up some items to bring back into the city. It was snowing that day and here are some pics.

A neighbor had this interesting set up in his back yard... Any guesses as to what it is?

The lake hasn't frozen over yet so some residents still have their boats in the water

Great pics ecr, did you use the traditional western turkey stuffing? looks yummy. I'm heading to Lviv this Christmas Day to be with my Lena. She tells me its quite cold there already so am planning on bringing lots of warm clothing. What are the average temps there right now?

Yes I made a traditional western stuffing and they loved it. Temps have been ranging between 28-40F lately most of the time it's the low 30's.
