anyone ever been to kazakhstan?

I'm going to Kz in 7 weeks, to visit a woman. I've never been to kz, any idea of what I can expect? I met her in US, accidental tourist, but, we hit it off. )

              We have a friend here in Garland from Kazakhstan. Not at all middle eastern looking.
She has blonde hair blue eyes. Kazakhstan is very politically strict.
You met your friend here in the US? Interesting.

There are many Kazakh people visiting US, and MANY Kazakh students at the universities. Their government pays tuition under condition that they will return with US diplomas and work for Kazakhstan.

I met her in NYC the first week of Nov. She had this confused look on her face, so I asked her if she needed assistance. she smiled and in the softest voice says i'm lost. so, I hail a cab and personally escort her to destination (trade center site). We spent the next 3 days, talking and hanging out threre. We've been in contact everyday since. so, technically, I wrote none, but will visit one.

Kz is probably better than Uzbekistan who has a man in charge who routinely gets in the 10 ten for worst dictators in the World every year yet I felt safe there during 4 visits. Your lady should take care of you while you're there so enjoy your time with her and the experience.
