As some of my friends and clients will tell you I have an old saying, "Nothing funnier than to scam a scammer".

Their are many stories behind most of these scammers. I'll tell you one such scam.

You will see photo of woman named Kate.  I have other photos of Kate, she was, still is last I looked, with a few large agencies and on one free Russian personal site.    565736P1    Kate.a.


Kate has interest in many men, writes many men and has many men come to Kiev to see her.   One man wrote me many years ago about his trip in visiting Kate in Kiev.   Kate met him at the airport. She was sneezing, not in good health and she told him she would be well in a few days. 

This man, we'll call him Jim,  had the girl he was going to see to arrange everything, meeting him at airport, getting his flat.

Kate took Jim to her girlfriend, Tatiana's, flat.   Tatiana's photo is the last one seen above.

One day passes and two and three day's pass and Kate just does not get any better.   Jim begin's to go out and see Kiev on his own, visit's a couple of agencies and after 6 day's it's time for him to leave Kiev, having never seen Kate after she dropped him off at Tatiana's flat on the first day.

Tatiana comes to get the flat key's from Jim about 15 minutes before the driver arrives to take him to the airport.  After getting the key's Tatiana walks over to the phone. Makes a call to someone, speaks for a minute and then hang's up the phone.  Tatiana tell's Jim she has just checked with the phone company and he has $600 in long distance phone call's. Jim say's there must be some mistake, he only used the phone a few times.  Tatiana say's no mistakes, these charges have occured in the last 6 day's. Jim tell's her she is mistaken, he might owe $5 in call's at most and he's not even going to think about paying any more.  She say's if he does not pay she will call the police.  Of course the driver taking Jim to the airport is Tatiana's driver. 

Jim does not know what to do, if he allows her to call police he will for sure miss his flight. He agree's to pay her $200, she accepts. 

I saved Jim's information and filed it away.  Fast forward 10 months and I get an email from a man we'll call Bob.

Bob writes me about an experince he just had in Kiev with a woman named Katya and how he was scammed by her and her friend Tatyana and the telephone scam.  Bob essentially tell's me pretty much the same story as Jim.  Katya was ill, did not see him. Bob stayed in flat owned by Katya's friend Tatyana, who did not live in the center by the way, several metro stops from the center.

Well, this was the second report I heard on these two so I posted Kate and Tatiana's photo on my scammers list with details as to the scam.

A few months pass and I get an email from Kate. Kate demands I remove her and Tatiana's photo immeaditly.   At this time I included the emails and photos of many of the people who worked with me and Rostick and Galina's email and photos were both listed on the website as my Kiev associates.   Kate tell's me it will not be any problem for her father, a local Police Chief for one of the Kiev districts, to locate Rostick and Galina.

I removed Kate's and Tatiana's photos quickly.

Yea Sandro, figured that out, as was the case with about another dozen scammers using the photos of other women.

Good example.   Kate and Tatiana - what a pair!   I wonder how much they earned in a year from such scams. 

IMO the photos are examples of what to avoid.  Most RW are somewhat reserved and feel awkward about exhibiting suggestive and revealing poses.  Playful photos at the beach are okay, yet  spreading the knees and pushing up one's breasts is a bad sign.  And of course all they want is a good man - they don't care about his appearance or age.

Gator I also have wondered how much the two were able to rake in.

These two had it down to an art.  Kate (Katya) wrote, wrote, wrote, talked, talked to a lot of men over the years.   I saw this woman's Kate photos on a site as recently as a few years ago.   

I felt not good about myself in having to remove these two women from my scammers list, I actually felt a bit dirty about removing them, but I could not risk the welfare of my two fine associates. It pissed me off everytime I thought about this.   

I did post something about this scam several years back after Galina had moved to Canada and Rostick had been out of the industry for a few years.

The second man who reported this said he ended up paying Tatiana I think about $150.  The girls took whatever they could get.  They were charging the men much more for the flat then they should have so they were making good profit on the flat, I'm sure the airport pick-up.  Katya was never seeing the men, she was always sick.

I'm sure things like this have happened to men many times.  Some men realize they were scammed, some men I am sure are still wondering if Katya, or Yulia, or Natalia, Oksana, were really sick.   

And I think many men who were scammed like this were/are to embarrassed to report or post.
