This is a busy time in Moscow:
- 07 May, Inauguration of Vladimir Putin as President of the Russian Federation.
- 08 & 09 May, marks the 67th Anniversary of VICTORY over the Nazi fascist invaders. On 8 May, newly installed President Putin will lead a procession for the ceremonial lighting of the eternal flame at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers. That will be followed by a gala ball for veterans at the Kremlin.
Then on 09 May the formal parade will be staged on Red Square with international media coverage.
So, what happens in the inauguration of a Russian president?
What oath does he recite?
What is the order of the ceremony?
Where does the ceremony take place?
What will President Putin do immediately after being declared President?
For security reasons I will be required to maintain "radio silence" other than regular feeds to the news network for which I'm grateful to be employed and scheduled posts on the Mendeleyev Journal, so in case you are interested in what happens, these details and others are available now
and will be updated during the week at the
Mendeleyev Journal.
