My Wife Makes The Best Borscht On The Planet...

I've tasted many variations of borscht over the years -- both within Russia and within the USA -- But none are better than my wife's.
 
When she's cooking it (a multi-step process takes a good portion of the day), the aroma that fills the house makes everyone salivate like Pavlov's dogs.
 
And when it's ready, the color is a deeper, more brilliant crimson than any other borscht I've ever seen.
 
I mean it is so good that the second-best borscht that I've tasted wasn't even a close second!
 
And no, I'm not going to post her recipe.

You do realize however that she makes the second best borsch but I'm not going to post our recipe either....well, maybe not.

Neither my wife or me like borscht very much...but we both love menudo however! With tripe, no less. She tries to make it at home and everytime she does, it gets better and better.
 
Ocassionally she would ask me to make Aguadito De Pollo when she gets the craving. That Peruvian hearthy soup comes a close second for us. The recipe of which came from my ex-Peruvian GF.

Maybe some of you will appreciate a little FSU cooking communication humo(u)r.
She makes the most delicious batter for cooking meat. It puts a delicious crust on poultry, pork, beef, fish, cat (well, it jumped through the window and peed on the rug, I had to do something with the corpse)...  the cool part is its name..  it doesn't have one, but she (we) calls it "me ate" from her special pronunciation of the word "meat"...  after the first time, I told her "damn, that was good meat!" so on another day while pondering she offered "you want me ate good?"


Uh... let's leave it at a slight communication gap for a few minutes on that one...
