Orchid Agency and HRB

Hey Everybody,

So, I am new to this whole internet, wife search opportunity, due to a very good Russian friend of mine's suggestion, I have decided to give it a shot. So, In my search, on a dating site, I met a lady who later found out, actually manages one of the Orchid Agencies in Ukraine. We have some in depth conversations with each other prior to this, learning if we were right for each other. Believe me, it was along the lines of a Pyscological Exam of each other. lol...Long story short, we found that we we most likely were not going to make a good husband/wife team. Well, actually, this was what I decided, and she seemed somewhat distraught, but OK with it.

SO, as I already knew what she did, I asked for her assistance, sometime after, and she told me more about the agency, Chrisitan Agency, and that all her girls were serious about their search for a husband abroad, warned me of Nikoalev (spelling) as well, and stated that I would need to Register on HRB to see who they all are, and establish contact with them thru there...She also gave me a list of IDs, from her specific agency, and if I were interested in anyone else, outside her city, to pass the ID to her so she can check on them for me. So, after all that I went thru with her, I really feel like I know her well, and that she is sincere with what she is telling me, and decided to give it a shot.

Long story short, I end up signing on for HRB, and am a member now, have met a couple very nice ladies from her agency...One I am talking to admits to working there, think she said she is an insprirational manager?? Well, none the less, she seems very nice, and potential there for something more, as well, another girl I am talking too seems to be genuinly interested as well...Expressing her interests with me, and her intentions with meeting someone abroad, along with her daughter. And yes, they say that they cannot talk outside the site, which was a very big concern of mine. I talked with my now friend about this, of course, she would not directly admit to anything, as far as agreements, and how she may profit from their use online...but just to assure me that girls from the Orchid Agency are serious about their search, and that she guarantee's her girls..? Also, that they are their to protect the girls, and give them guidance thru this process...No lies, etc.etc..

Now, after reading some things on this site, I am starting to question myself, am I being strung along here?? Is this Agency really all that bad? Am I really being strung along here? It would be a dissapointment, seeing how well I got to know this person,  but good to know before I put too much money into this thing. Any thoughts?

My bet is yes, you are getting strung along. Agencies such as that one, are for the sole purpose of separating you from your money. There are a number of others ways to meet RW without joining these agancies.

People may be waiting for you to read the archives on HRB.  

HRB is generally considered to be up there in the big 3 (with Anastasia and AFA) as the big villains that taint the whole industry.  The HRB speciality is separating the user from large sums of cash without giving up anything (usually as their is no one there but Igor Buttbreathsky, [employee of the month] and his webcam girlfriend).

Put the gun down, all may not be lost.  Like they say about the blind squirrel...  The moral compromises of UAW are legendary.  Could be the "heart of gold" just trying to survive.  As Johnson said; "Virtue by poverty depressed, slowly rises."

My bet, don't count on it.  Looks like, talks like, walks like, can be real deceiving in a foreign land.  Personally, I'd duck!

This really seems like a pay to play.  You pay, they play you and get paid.  Do a search here for HRB.

Increase your probability of success (and save money)  by joining more reputable agencies such as Elena's Models.

Letter writing is free.  And you will not be contacted by so many beautiful women (hello....that should tell you something).

If you are serious about making the trip in the next few months and if you do not stretch far beyond your league, you should find a number of interested women.

 When you pay to play on a dating site like HRB or AWEB its like spotting everyone but yourself three aces in a poker game. You might get lucky and win but the odds are really bad.

I am surprised I missed your post.. here is the "skinny"..

If you just signed up to HRB you probably missed the part where you have to spend $1000 before you can get the personal contact info or even meet any of the ladies on the site.

So, lets assume you are foolish enough to actually spend $1000 on the site and then you ask your lovely lady who is a member of the so called Christian Marriage Agency known as Orchid to have her personal contact information...

She will refuse.  She will say she owes her agency a big favor and that you should continue to communicate through HRB.  She may also tell you it is for her safety.

If you try to go to see her in Odessa or any of the other cities where they have satellite agencies.. you will discover that if you do not use them for every service you will face obstructions at every turn and they will interfere with the girl and tell her you are bad.  She will believe them over you.

On HRB find a "model" called "oprincess".  It has been a while since I checked.. but this girl who was engaged for over a year and her profile remained on site with many thanks to Orchid agency all over her profile is in fact no longer engaged and is actively scamming I mean corresponding with many different men.  If you search the Odessa profiles you will see several who refer to their Orchid agency in glowing terms.. don't be fooled.  They are the most cynical scam agency of them all.

Yeah, while I was on there. I also noticed that they wouldnt even exchange personal information with you even after doing their so-called intimacy request. I never got that far, but everyone I asked about it was real animate about this process of theirs. It really made no sense to me.

I did see what you were talking about, another girl was on the site as being engaged, happy as can be, then a few weeks later, had another profile up still looking.

Unbelievable, those girls must have some sort of agreement with the agency or something. This is the only thing I can think of. Anyhow, Im on EM now and met a couple really nice girls, who actually let me speak to them over the phone and regular email. SUCH a big difference! lol. Glad I didnt get too caught up with HRB. That kind of money is a plane ticket just to Ukraine in itself! Actually, Just saw tickets for 677, so a ticket and a weeks stay at an apartment even! haha

Jeff I am glad you got off of that site.  I wish I had a way to reach out to every guy that is caught in the web of lies manipulated by HRB.

The thing is.. and i have said this over and over and I think it is finally starting to sink in.. is as follows..

Most of the big sites are not agencies at all.  They are clearing houses for an established and very well organized network of marriage agencies all over Ukraine and Russia. These affiliates may have contracts with numerous different sites and they may place their girls on different sites with the purpose of increasing the number of letters they can charge for but under the pretense of giving the girl exposure to more potential husbands.

The bottom line though.. until there is a way to reach the men before they get sucked in by the propaganda it is a losing battle for anyone who is trying to find a wife or anyone who is trying to protect or help naive men.  This and other forums help, but, unfortunately most men don't find the forum until after they have already spent a lot of $$$.

The numbers of men sites like HRB and A-Web are "servicing" are staggering.  It is an incredibly profitable business and with all that free flowing cash it makes it even harder to fight back. 

Anyway, in my own case.. I learned the hard way and I will never pay any site or any individual ever again for anything related to dating.  And the truth is.. there is simply no reason to do it anymore.  At this stage any girl who says she can't get internet access is a liar.  I would bet $1000 that every household in Russia will have a comp within the next 2-4 years.
