I never found nightclubs in Ukraine to be a hook up type of place like here in the states.  It was mainly people having fun in their circles of friends.

That isn't remotely meant as a slap or rebuke, just a comment that sometimes one man's "nightclub" is another man's (woman's) spot for meeting friends and catching up on gossip and news.

There are even some who go solely based upon the backstock of pours and brews available. I went to Golden Gate mostly for the monthly cheeseburger (until I started dropping into Fridays) and their Steak and Egg breakfast on weekends.

Students get sucked along into going hoping to meet native-speakers and get into some good conversations.

You are right about that.
I consider a night club to be a place with face control and where the coke is the hottest item on the menu.  Soho and Imperia are the upper end night clubs.

There are a lot of bars and cafes that at night do function as sort of night clubs. These would be club bars and have a more relaxed atmosphere.  Rolling Stone and BB kings are IMO bars not night clubs.


andyman, I would find out what clubs she goes to regularly. This will tell you a lot. You said she is high end wealth, and free to have something outside the marriage, so  is your question about how other people would see her, if she were cheating, or how she would see them if they were cheating?

I suppose it is all in how a persons first visit to one of these places goes too.
My first nightclub was dark, strobe lit, croweded, impossible to hear over the "music"
teeming with young women who I later found out would charge a free to do those things that she was yelling in my ear. lol. So I may be biased.     that was in Vancouver many years ago.
on a side note  -  they had the best looking women  i'd ever seen  before. but that was the late 80's

I haven't eaten there in ages, perhaps it is #3 on page 7 of the menu Gator posted. If they have the same format this is the menu for floors two and three, the so-called "Library" section of Cafe Pushkin. Dining on the first floor is slightly more informal and a tad less expensive with a smaller menu unless they've changed things up.

As others have said, I don't believe there to be culture of pride in adultery in Moscow or any other Russian city for that matter. It happens anywhere in the world and at the time time there are countless couples who'd not participate. That being said, and this is a small minority simply due to the financial numbers, one could make the argument that in some Oligarch families there might be an arrangement whereby Ms Armcandy is allowed a night on the town because of the extreme age disparity between she and Mr Moneybags.

Then again, some of those Oligarch types are extremely jealous of their possessions and the two fellows over at the corner of the bar may be there for the sole purpose of cracking the skull of any guy dumb enough to try and make a move on Ms Arm Candy.

You may be right, Jim. It didn't really make much sense to me that these two would get married and agree to be in an "open marriage" lifestyle from the get-go. I can see how some couples may decide to try this lifestyle after many years together, having raised children and wanting to add some spice to their lives. But to start a new marriage agreeing to see other people just doesn't make any sense. Why marry at all??? Could be BS, could be true... I've seen some pretty strange stuff in my lifetime. Anything is possible.
