Hello all.

I have been talking exclusively to one RW from Shebekino for the past 2.5 months.

We are planning our first meeting in Sevastopol in April.

I am 50yo and have been divorced for 2 years on my own for 3.  I found out about RW when I met and briefly dated one here in the US.  I met her on a website.  She had been in the US for 15 years and only divorced for a few months.  When I was dating her I did some internet searching on dating customs in Russia.

That is how I found the RW dating site I used.

Elena and I talk every day on Skype, today for 3 hours.  We feel a strong connection and look forward to seeing if it continues in person.  I know many here recommend WMVM, but as of this point Elena is the one out of many that I talked with that is interested in me as much as I am interested in her.  She is 42 this month and has one grown daughter.

What we recommend is to have a backup plan. Soemtimes you plan a trip, and after 30 minutes know things are not working out. Then you are alone in a foreign country, with a lot of time on your hands.
A backup plan does not always need to be the phone number of another woman or agency. It can be going bear hunting, fishing, visiting places you night otherwise never see. Just be sure that you will not be without something to enjoy, even if it does not lead to a relationship.

Welcome, Pkeel  . You seem to be approaching this quest with the right frame of mind. As others previous to me have commented, go with what you are comfortable doing. It looks like you are developing a solid pre-trip relationship with Elena. I personally could have never been a WMVM type of man. I need to have more than a passing acquaintance with the eastern European woman whom I venture such a great distance, geographically, culturally, and linguistically, to meet. I wrote to my fiancee in Luhansk for several months before meeting her. The meeting brought us together physically; we had already developed much emotional commitment.

You are meeting her in one of the most interesting and scenic locations in UA. By April, the weather should be mild and enjoyable. Bon voyage!
