I just want to say that with the networking sites like vk and facebook,  checking up on your potential match is easy. it's difficult to invent friends,  sisters,  information about their college, etc.  when you are connected.  if she invented accounts and  friends,  plus posted photos about her in her college website then she deserves whatever money she scams from me...

how many  people here use their full names and total disclosure of identity when talking? I have and surprisingly,  she wrote hers too.  are there any downsides to this?

I had someone, an ex-potential girlfriend (Colombiana) who had 3,800 Facebook friends while I only had 13 on my secondary facebook account. 

She was very jealous when one of these 12 ladies wrote "you are very handsome" and asked me to remove her comment.   

While she had countless male friends writing something like "I want to sleep with you"  "I want to have sex with you"  "You are very beautiful"  "I want to marry you" and so on (all in Spanish), and even she ticked "likes" all of them

It's just not that hard to find a more rational woman,
they might be elusive   but thy are not mythical unicorns either.
 
When I see men repeatedly struggle time and again with flaky, wacky, scammer, or  insincere women-
then I have to wonder at their means or methods of contacting women in general,as well as their personal barometers for basic understanding of other peoples character.
 
I couldn't find that many, poor excuses for womanhood,
  if i intentionally tried to.
 
The reality is most men that really run into problems finding a decent ,sincere woman, have unrealistic expectations-
 or they have their own set of pretty out there issues that are generally obvious to everyone but them.
It's seldom just a string of bad luck.
 
so i think they have to look deeply in the mirror and ask-
in their best Clint Eastwood voice-

I know stories of Russians who were scammed through vk and facebook, guess they will move international eventually.
