So tell me is this a common theme that the russian women in this area are much more nice and decent than women in other areas of Russia  as far as serious relations..

 

I also mean women that do not just want some man to spend money on them..this is something that I will not and can not afford to even do.

 

Turbo what was your experience with the women from this area?

Was she working and or was she in University.. I find many are in university and what does that mean.. if you are past age 25 and in unviersity study

also this thing about not smoking and drinking.. do most women not drink and smoke or is this just a ploy?

My wife is from Stavropol. I would say that this area is no better or worse than any other area in the FSU, concerning finding a good woman.  IMHO, it is a rather prosperous area and somewhat difficult to travel to by airplane.

Sorry Clay, I have not been there.  I did meet a gal from there and spent about 3 days with her 2 years ago.  What was she like.  Humm, I had better not say.  Lets just say she was very tall.   I think she told me she was 5'11"  but she did not tell me that was when she was on her knees. 

All gals are different so my impressions of one gal from there  will not mean much.  Of course if you are talking Moscow gals then they are not so different from each other.

This is the sort of assumption that makes me shake my head in amazement.

I've also heard that women in Stravopol won't marry a man unless he's at least 20 years her senior.

Proceed with caution on the smoking and drinking.  I have always had a problem with cigarette smoke, I explicitly stated upfront to women that I would meet that I cannot live with a smoker.  My wife was from Belarus, immigrated on a K1 in 1990.  She told me upfront that she was not a smoker; however, she was a smoker for a short period during college.  AFTER we were married, she began smoking her favorite brand of cigarettes, Camel filtered in a box.  I have been trying to cope with living with a smoker ever since.  Two years ago I had throat surgery, and cigarette smoke now causes great irritation.  She told me that my health needs are not a motivation for her to quite smoking.  In addition to the smoking, she told me prior to our marriage that she was not a drinker.  AFTER we were married, she had periodic episodes of being a drunkard.  The drinking problem has become less with time; however, the smoking seems to stay regardless of the efforts that she has put into trying to stop.

Being myself a smoker, i have not problem with wife who smoke... but from my previous marriage, i never smoke home... i know that smoke is not healthy for me and for people around me... my health is my own problem but showing respect for the health from other is a minimum...

So, i smoke only outside, or in the patio ( half open place ) in case of bad weather... when i was married, it was respect for my wife and her daughter...

Sorry, but you wife show no respect for you... why you keep her ? The fact that she is smoker is not the main problem... but she smoke near you and she know that smoke lead to health problem for you... Why do you accept so situation ? I don't know if you have children but cigarette smoke have a very big negatif effect on children, damage are more big for young people...
