Oh yes,

She is from Krasnoyarsk and did a little work in the village on her best friends gardens.

I have had gardens in the past, but now live right in Minneapolis.  Not much room, but was able to pull off a 26 foot x 30 foot garden last year.

This year same size garden in back, but in the front yard did an L shaped 5' x 26' with 5' x 30 foot on the other leg.

Both gardens are fenced in to keep the rabbits, etc out.  This year we had seedy dill, sunflowers, 4 kinds of tomatoes (about 150lbs yield), some cucumbers (didn't do well this year), lettuce, carrots (did great), broccoli, California wonder peppers (did great), sweat peas (did good), and a few onions, garlic, herbs.

My brother has an harrold apple tree, I got about 60lbs from that and a lady I worked with brought in about 20lbs from her tree.   Made apple butter, sliced apples, apple sauce, and canned it all.

I bought an All American Pressure canner (made in Wisconsin since 1906 very good and well worth the money)  which I could can 14 qts at a time.  I have canned green beans, raspberry jam, strawberry jam, pizza sauce, spaghetti sauce,   stewed tomatoes, etc.

Been having a lot of fun and have a root cellar full of food.

:)
