ATM's in Moscow

It's been a long time but I will be returning to Moscow again at the end of July. For the sake of thoroughness can anyone here say if anything has changed recently in regards to ATMs, Visa / MasterCard?  Thank you.

Ill be in Moscow in a couple of weeks Ill let you know if Visa/ Mastercard still works cant see why it wouldn't but well see

Quite easy the 'why,' if the system is shut down for Russia.

Note:  I am not claiming that, the system is shut down for all transactions . . . just that some of it has and there are continuing talks that will determine a final yes-no answer for the future.

All the ATMs all over Russia are working fine, don't worry you will not die

That's a relief. Dying in Moscow would be rather an inconvenience for me... bothersome too.

You do not have to use a ATM just go into one of the large banks and draw cash over the counter

   Lol no need to carry cash in body parts! I asked my wife who talked to a bank and used the ATM all is good. Ill be in Moscow in a few days if there any problems Ill let you know.

Money will always rule over politics, so ATM's might charge a higher fee but that will be all
