I just want to thank this site for all of the valuable information. I don't post a whole lot, but instead read and gather information. If you really take you're time, read, and gather their is no way one should fall to a scam or not succeed in finding a wife. I have not found one yet but am confident that I will because of this forum. The information here amazes me, some good stories, some bad stories, some happy endings, some bad endings, and some of both good/bad. I know I am still new to it all, but feel it's all just starting.

I recently posted I was going to take a trip in May to the Ukraine but feel with everything still going on with Russia, that it's better to just keep saving money, reading the advice on here, and keep making friends in the other country's from suggested sites. I have talked to a lot of women from Russia, Ukraine, Africa, and Asia. Many have caught my attention but being aware of the type of scams, just have not got a good vibe from any. Some have straight out asked for money after chats, emails, and video chating, others have asked for laptops, and gifts. If I had not joined this forum, I would have probably bought a laptop for a Philippine woman, and sent money to a woman in Ukraine. Thought both were serious until a video chat turned into those topics. I just slowly cut ties with both.

I think personally for me the best bet is taking a trip to either Ukraine or the Philippines ( hard to find one because I like blondes) and just use the first trip as a culture and travel experience. Then on a second trip add in some dating. I just get the feeling that it really does not matter what site you sign up on, scammers are every where. I took the suggested sites and signed up on them, which I meet both the Philippine and Ukrainian scammer on(freepersonals.ru). I think the list of the suggested sites is a little outdated and not scam proof. I will say they are you're best bets just because they are free or cost little to join.

I get more and more excited about finding my future wife, which will be Ukrainian or Philippine. But, just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has shared/shares there information, because without it I would not stand a chance!

Scammers can be found everywhere, even at Elena's Models, a highly recommended pay site (the amount of money to join Elena's is still small compared to the pay-by-letter sites (to be avoided). 

When beginning correspondence with a woman, just act normal.  Do not be fearful of scammers - their true colors will become evident with time.  A sincere FSUW would never ask for money prior to a meeting (nor afterwards either).  I believe that a man who is fearful of scammers will not act normal and this will turn off genuine, sincere FSUW.

I suggest that you consider Russia.  The Russian economy is better than Ukraine's economy, so RW on average are less motivated to move to the West than UW.  One problem:   RW on average will be more particular in their choices, and less likely to make quick decisions (and that is not bad unless you don't have the time and money to make multiple trips).

How many roads have you travelled that have no hazards? Many of the suggested sites are still better that the ones we warn about. All the forum can do is help guys find the best roads to travel on with the fewest hazards but you're still in the driver seat with hands on the steering wheel and have to navigate around the hazards.
