[size="3"][color="darkred"]I have avoided using the mail system in Ukraine. I don't know why. Maybe it's because a package I sent last January never arrived there. Yeah, that's probably why. I've done the flower delivery thing many times at $50 to $100 a pop. ...And then I see the same flowers in my local supermarket for $10 to $20.:D  Yikes. Sometimes I can think in a 'greedy' way.  Yes, we'll have tons of flowers when she lives here.

What is a proper gift for her Mom? Are flowers okay? What can you tell me to quell my fears about using the Ukrainian mail system?

Is New Years a big gift-giving Holiday or just a big 'party' Holiday?

For those who are married, do you send gifts to her parents for ...which Christmas?

We send gifts for New Years. Christmas is not so big a deal. Can't  speak about the Ukrainian postal system but with Russia all of our  packages have arrived though sometimes it takes longer than others.  Letters can make it in a week or in ten weeks. Ya just never know.
