Thank you for the kind wishes.  My country is far from perfect yet it's home and I'm very thankful to live in a place without war and with possibilities for all.  My prayers are for the people of Ukraine who have suffered such a horribly difficult year.  I simply hope that they will achieve International recognition for the sovereignty of their nation and that all will honor and respect their right to self-determination.

Same here.  As I post this it's only five minutes to Christmas Day.

Thank you for the kind wishes.  My country is far from perfect yet it's home and I'm very thankful to live in a place without war and with possibilities for all.  My prayers are for the people of Ukraine who have suffered such a horribly difficult year.  I simply hope that they will achieve International recognition for the sovereignty of their nation and that all will honor and respect their right to self-determination.

I wish for everyone to remain safe and live in peace, to be able to solve their differences without bloodshed.


As for the conflicts in this world. May all 'Muslims practice the peace they claim their religion to be.
May the IS be dissolved by the people living in the area, with or without our help.
May the people in Africa understand that tribe wars are no longer bringing their country forward.
May the people of every country be allowed to determine their leader, even if it is a dictator or medieval monarch.
May Russia convince the Donbass region their future lies in Ukraine.
May Ukraine once again embrace the fact they are a diverse nation that should unite instead of divide itself.


May democracy be replaced by a system that truly gives the inhabitants of a country power to change things.

And above all, may all families live in peace and each person searching find the one they can live in happiness with.
