Now my pc has no sound. The sound icon in the taskbar shows that sound is enabled and the advance controls also indicate that I should have sound. I guess it is time to play with the cables and speakers. It is one problem after another with a pc. Maybe I need to update the drivers.

Time for a Mac.

My other favorite is the ID-10-T error. Great to tell someone. "Oh yeah, that's an ID-10-T error." They say "Huh?" and you tell them to write it down = i d i o t

Ok Ken I resemble that remark.
My stepson somehow found his desktop had no icons and none of the keys on the keypad were functioning except Ctrl+Alt+Delete. I was able to access the task manager and somehow keyed in Win.exe and Windows started right up. I felt like I had really accomplished something. He is still starting Windows this way.

 I think I'm way over qualified for the ID-10-T error! We've got a 25 year old girl here who is a programmer/database wiz. Makes this old fart feel like I just figured out how to sing the alphabet song.
